The initial quote in the website was $9.42/month, but going through my employer plan and adding illness it became $21/pay check or $45.5/month with biweekly pay.

Great, Effective Pet Insurance!

Getting an Insurance Quote for my 2 bunnies was easy, efficient, and the prices are reasonable! The representative who worked with me was very kind and informed me well about my plan and what it covers.

Huckleberry Has Hope

My fifteen-year old cat was very slow and sleeping in weird positions. The vet confirmed with x-rays his osteoarthritis. The vet recommended Solensia injections. Thankfully with Pets Best, we were able to afford the monthly treatments. Huckleberry has new life and is so much happier.

Healthy Paws Insurance

I previously used Healthy Paws for my golden that passed away in 2025. He was barely 4 when he passed, but he had many health issues since he was a puppy. I got the insurance when he was about 9 months old, so there were some preexisting conditions that weren’t covered. The premium was a littler higher than other insurance companies I got quotes on, but it ended up paying for itself by the time he passed. The claim process was fairly easy. I had to upload the most recent medical records and the paid invoice for each claim. I’m not sure if that process is still the same, but it was simple nonetheless. The timeframe was also quick, about 3-4 days, and I was reimbursed accordingly. They covered what was agreed upon in my policy. I do recommend them due to their quick claim and reimbursement process and covering what they’re supposed to. I wouldn’t have changed a thing for my pup.

Pet Insurance

This past year, Metlife has really upped its game. We got reimbursements within 3 business days, unlike previous years, where it took them up to a month on some occasions. I took a star off since they are increasing their premiums by 150$/month to continue the same plan, but other than that, they've been extremely easy to deal with.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GETTING THIS INSURANCE …

I was paying for 4 years the insurance for my pet Piera with policy # 1533639-03. I only made one claim sinve I started. 3 years later after being paid for a long time, my cat had an emergency, I took her to the vet, the clinic tested her and higher recommend to have a dental cleaning because she had many dental plaques , that was the first emergency visit and I was charged US 281.80. A week later I took her for her dental cleaning and I was charged for US 350.00 more. Then I called to Met-life and I asked to the agent if I needed to put 2 different claims, the answe was NO, "you don't need to, just put everything in a single claim. Like 90 days later the claim was completely denied. Then I called again and they sent me an appeal form that would take 90 days more to see if I had a case to claim part of the money. 90 days and monthly I pay almos 30 dollars plus the 90 days when my claim was denied? I DIDN'T HAVE THE RISK AGAIN. I feel that i was robbed for 4 years. do not think about getting this insurance. It is a complete fraud. RIcardo Munoz

First year renewal was a 60% increase in premium with no claims

Thankfully, I haven't had to submit a claim, however, my first renewal was certainly a surprise. 60% increase in premium. I wound up having to change coverages in order to keep the premium reasonable. I have 2 pets insured with them. Just be prepared for the honeymoon stage to end after the first year.

I have not had any issues so far with the claims process. It has been easy and straightforward, I think since I have been set up since 2019. It has gotten a bit more expensive since I first started but overall I am happy with my experience.
