Please save your money and time and frustration
Please save your money and time. This is the worst company to try to work with. I had a cattle dog with a belly ache. Took him to the vet naturally, and submitted a claim. Embrace said this was a pre-existing condition when in fact, with proof this is the first time. Honestly, they just want your money. They took three months to deny the claim and in the meantime they collected 3 months of premiums When I went to cancel they said they would at the end of the billing cycle. I said NO, now and naturally they had to refund the remaining of the month which they didn't want to do. If you like to get scammed and pay for insurance they will just deny you go ahead. We are USAA members and were suppose to get good service because of that. UGH, stay away.

Pets Best is actually the best
I now have all of my pets covered through Pets Best. The online filing system is incredibly easy & user friendly. If they are experiencing high demand, they communicate delays via email. Once a claim is approved, payment is typically deposited into my account within a week. My German Shepherd went through emergency surgery and 18 months of chemotherapy & Pets Best always came through with reimbursement without increasing his coverage amount by an insane amount. And let me tell you, we easily had at least $20k in vet expenses. When he passed, I filed a claim for euthanasia. Not only did they cover that expense, they sent an email apologizing for our loss and auto-closed his policy and even reimbursed us for the coverage we had pre-paid for. I am so thankful for their layer of support & will continue to recommend them for coverage!

Been a customer for 6 years and never really had to use the service and kinda felt bad about paying for it. Then my dog contracted Glaucoma and I am sooo glad I had Healthy Paws. Had about 7-8 visits and an operation. The claims were easy to submit and the reimbursement was quite speedy. I waited about a month until everything was managed and submitted at once. I’ve technically still paid more for the insurance than my disbursements (lol). But the peace of mind is worth it

We have ad MetLife Pet insurance for our pets for 3 years. They make the payouts quick. The biggest prohibitive items are the rising costs of have 2 dogs at 7 years old. Each year the costs rise exponentially.

We have been Embrace customers since…
We have been Embrace customers since 2019. Before Embrace became part of the JAB-backed pet insurance group, our annual increases were relatively modest and the customer service was excellent. Since then, our premiums have risen almost 100% each year. Last year, our policy covering four dogs was $655.10 per month. After one of our dogs passed away and was removed from the policy, our renewal for only three dogs increased to $773.25 per month, or $9,279 per year. We have been trying for more than a month to adjust the coverage, but Embrace’s online “Edit Coverage” feature has been unavailable. Their website still advertises the ability to review and change coverage online, yet we cannot actually use it. Every time we call, we spend an excessive amount of time on hold. We have been promised callbacks that never came and given case numbers without the problem being resolved. At this point, we have filed complaints with the Indiana Department of Insurance, Indiana Attorney General, and FTC. A company charging nearly $800 a month should, at the very minimum provide a way for customers to manage their policies.
