Love healthy paws
Love healthy paws. I have two large dogs and one has more health issues than the other. When we go to the vet, we feel assuring that we will not decline treatments because of the high vet bills. Our dogs’ health is the priority.

I used to recommend this company but sadly not anymore
I used to recommend this company highly. Sadly since Chubb bought it 2 years ago I have noticed a steep drop in the quality of customer service. They raised our coverage 21.2% twice for each of these two years. They also DECREASED our reimbursable rate without any explanation except a generic letter that said my pet is not eligible for the 90% rate I have paid for for 11+ years. After 1 hour+ talking with 3 polite but ineffective people, I learned that this year Chubb decided that pets over 7 can't get more than a 70% reimbursement. (not explained ANYWHERE in writing in their correspondence or the website) On top of everything else they started charging a "processing fee" for an account payment I have always made through checking. Finally, when I asked to see the billing records explaining the increases and processing fees over the past year I(not available on their website) the agent told me he would have to put in a request to have them sent to me in 10 to 11 business days. I asked to speak with a higher level person and he promised me somebody would contact me in a couple days to make a phone date. Not holding my breath because the same agent sent a follow up note with incorrect details about my billing request, and from a "no reply" email address. Clearly this company is all about greed and misleading its longtime customers now. SO, today I called the NYS Finance Department and they encouraged me to file a complaint based on all of the above. I will be doing that next week. P.S. I notice another Trustpilot site with far lower ratings. Check it out! Wondering it this one's being boosted by company plants.

Good claim process, but premium increased without merit!
I like the process of filing claims, what is covered, and easy managing the plan in the app…however, my pet’s premium went up 30% even without any unusual claims, only wellness visits and routine meds like heartworm/flea prevention.

My sweet 7 month old kitten got sick my…
My sweet 7 month old kitten got sick and my regular vet was closed, so I had to take him to the Emergency Vet. He stayed 3 nights and received fluids, medications and care. I submitted the itemized bill and had my vet submit their records and Spot Pet paid the 70% after my deductible. I was so happy, the Emergency Vet bill was over $2000! Saved my Credit Card balance for sure!!

Spot is a fabulous insurance to have…
Spot is a fabulous insurance to have for your pet. I have had two situations with my pet since having Spot,one was a preventative visit and one was an accident/ illness visit. They covered both. It is an extreme help to have them in your corner when an unexpected frightening situation happens with your fur baby. I highly recommend!!
