Monthly Cost
Plan costs depend on your choices, as well as pet breed, age and where you live.
Coverage
Accident and illness coverage, with two wellness optional choices. Exam fees and rehab coverage included in every policy (not an add-on). Payout percentages range from 50% - 85%.
Payout Limits
Range from $3,000 to $100,000 (annual). There are no lifetime limits.
Deductible
Range from $200 to $1,000 (annual).
Age Limits
At least 7 weeks old to enroll (and 14 years or younger). Once the pet is enrolled they may stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
0 days for accidents and 12 days for illnesses after the policy becomes effective. Unlike some providers, adoro does not have any extended waiting periods for orthopedic issues (like torn cruciate ligaments).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions (anything your pet had before your coverage began);
Routine care you can plan for, like vaccines or spay/neuter (unless you add wellness coverage);
Non-treatment costs (like grooming, boarding, food or cosmetic procedures);
Behavioral-related expenses like costs for pet aggression or training;
Other exclusions may apply. Refer to the exclusions section of the policy for more information.
