Efficient claim process
The process to submit the claim for the services received for my dog has been efficient, easy to upload receipts online and fast response on the status as well as direct payment to my account. The explanation of benefits covered is clear, although would like to see a higher amount for coverage under the wellness plan given the cost of the quarterly insurance payment, specially for healthy dogs that are current with all of their vaccinations. Other than that PetsBest has been great!

Pets Best has been wonderful for our family. It has helped us not think twice to take our dog to the vet or ER when needed and it has saved us so much money! While their website does randomly crash from time to time, it is very easy to use and the payments are quick and direct deposit. Couldn't recommend more!

Quick to deny every claim
I went with Trupanion for many years and opted for Pets Plus because it was cheaper. You get what you pay for. Trupanion were a dream to deal with compared to this company.

Have not filed claim yet but so far customer service is great
I have not filed a claim yet, but their customer service when signing up is really thorough. I felt I fully understood the policy before payment, unlike other providers. I then got a really clear document emailed to me that explains the policy. I asked one follow up question and got an immediate email answer. So far very happy, and the price is very reasonable.

Unclear terms and no changes allowed
I signed up from this site and purposefully selected Pet's Best because it said they cover exam fees. When I clicked through to their site it did not give me any option to select additional coverage for exam fees, so I thought it was included. In fact, there was very little info on the policy itself provided until I paid. Then I got an email saying exam fees were not covered. So I called a couple of days later to add them and I was not permitted to because my dog had a vet visit during that time, even though that visit wasn't going to be covered anyway since it was during the waiting period. They did process my cancellation and refund quickly. I have since signed up with another provider and they allow changes up to 14 days after the policy is started. Also good to know this provide requires you to call them to make any policy changes, unlike others which have online options for customer service.

Find somewhere else to get pet insurance.
I would say I could have spent less without the insurance. They covered practically nothing so when you pay the entire year up front and they hardly covered any of the visits. I would say look for a better insurance company.
