It takes way too long for the company to review your claim and process payments. Things you thought would be covered aren’t. They want way too much information to process claims. 1 visit they needed paperwork from day 1 when I got her. They already had the information sent to them previously.

Pretty straightforward submission process
As long as I have all the documentation needed to submit a successful claim, like the SOAP notes, it’s a seamless process. MetLife is transparent that it can take a few days for an adjuster to review and then it takes a few more days to receive payment but that process has always been pretty streamlined and straightforward for me.

Trupanion literally doubled our monthly…
Trupanion literally doubled our monthly payment. That was deeply disturbing. Also, you did not pay for the recent sick visit fully. We were responsible for the examination fee, and were under the impression that any part of a sick visit would be covered. Otherwise, Trupanion has done a good job with phone customer service, and online ease of use. I always find the customer service representatives to be polite, friendly, and pleasant.
