Easy and Reliable
Our 1 year old dog Charlie decided to surprise us this Christmas by eating a glass ornament. We had to take him for emergency surgery and two follow up x-rays to ensure that the glass that made it out of his stomach and into his digestive tract passed through safely. The care totaled around $4000. It was very easy to submit the paperwork online. Embrace covered all three claims and we were reimbursed 80% via direct deposit within a week of each claim--well before our credit card bill for the veterinary care was due. This coverage really saved our Christmas!

Relief knowing we can afford the care needed!
We had never considered pet insurance before but felt we should research once our new pup, Kipper, came home with us. Trupanion seemed to have the coverage that suited our needs best. We found out that Kipper had severe hip dysplasia at 6 months of age. Knowing we had Trupanion, we didn’t hesitate getting the medical help and surgeries Kipper needed. What was even better for us is we didn’t have to pay the full surgery costs up front. Trupanion worked with the Pet hospital to cover their portion of the bill. A bigger relief yet! Thank you Trupanion!

So very happy w/ my trupanion pet insurance!
Excellent service every time I've had to use my trupanion pet insurance. Claim is paid directly to my vet and I have peace of mind that all I have to pay is my 10%.

I got scammed by Trupanion Pet Insurance
I signed up with Trupanion about one year ago $90. with $250 deductible for each health issue. My dog developed a muscular condition that is on going Trupanion covered me like they promised they would But just this week I got an email from them saying that my coverage is going from $90 to $140 per month. After much complaining they have offered me $99. with $300 deductible When I signed with them they assured me no condition or cost would affect my coverage. I find this so unfair and they have me hook line and sinker because no other pet insurance company will cover his ongoing condition I just want to make people aware of their scam. I am a senior and find this so unfair. A 50% hike is outrageous.

No Other Pet Insurance Can Compare at this time.
I wish I had insurance as good as my dog!!!! Thanks Trupanion!!!! Need owner policy =:D) The only thing I do not like is not having a provider list of who does and does not accept Direct Pay. I am sorry but the Vet's that do not, well that is their issue. If I am paying out of pocket and being reimbursed then I should be able to chose from a Direct Pay facility when paying the rate for a zero deductible policy every month. A list of those with the software should be provided. Other than that Trupanion is the absolute Best Insurance I have ever dealt with. Human, Animal, or Property. Please consider the provider list Trupanion, if only for your higher priced Zero deductible plans.

Invoice
I find your "invoices" VERY confusing and hard to follow. Also, there was a mistake that shorted me approximately $55. Had I not reviewed the 3 invoices for this claim, it wouldn't have been found. I am concerned what might happen if I have an extensive claim, e. g. one that I had for a previous kitty (now an Angel) that ran for several pages and was c. $4,000 total. This shortfall was resolved, but only because I caught it. My $250 deductible was applied twice - - -

Very understanding
My debit card didn't go through for payment. I called and explained my card was fraudulently used and is being replaced which could be 10 - 15 days. I told her I will call as soon as it comes in. She was very understanding. Pat

I called to change the credit card ...
I called to change the credit card information on my account. I only wish I had been able to do it online. As it was, I was unable to even find my account online. The telephone help, however, was excellent. And thanks for not playing music when a caller is on hold.

When my dog needed an expensive procedure from the vet, Embrace helped in many ways.
My dog needed a procedure that was going to cost well over $1000. I called and talked to a wonderful woman who suggested that I get prior approval on the procedure so I would know how much out of pocket actually would be. They got that completed for me in one day and gave me the amount for the 80% coverage I have with them so I could start making arrangements to handle the payment up front. I sent the claim the day after her procedure, and they had a check to me within two weeks, so I ended up with no interest on my credit card. Thanks So much.
