Simple reimbursement process and…nailed it!

Simple reimbursement process and recently very quick with approval process when our pet went into ER. Best decision we made. Even ER was happy we had Trupanion. Under stressful situation, nice to know they have our backs and make things easier.

I find there's not much change from…

I find there's not much change from last year. I believe Melissa had mentioned at the end of last year that there was a technology migration for overall better service. Too me it looks as if the migration is still migrating! The website takes for ever to load and when it does functionality drags. No, it's not my computer. I have high speed internet and a new quality system. That being said the other issue I found is that claims seem to have moved a bit quicker but where is my cash? PetsBest gets their premiums on time regularly but lag in getting mine. Last issue, amount paid per claim, now unless I missed it the amounts paid out haven't changed since I joined. A wellness exam is quite expensive these days and their payout is a small fraction. Hopefully PetsBest will upgrade their tech issues and their payout amounts this year and going forward.

when looking over recent payment email…

when looking over recent payment email i noticed you used the wrong totals in charges incurred. i called and agent said check will be issued for incorrect totals and another check for corrected totals. i understand people make mistakes BUT if i didn't examine email would never have picked up on this. also, you use the discounted total instead of original charge. that is a courtesy to me as a long time Vet customer. I feel you should not use that!

I had previously paid my annual deductible and decided to increase my pets coverage you chose to cancel my policy and start a new policy and charged me the additional full deductible that I had to meet again. And then it takes you for over a week and a half the payout claims that you already have the records for and it's just medication refills
