I would never recommend this company
I would never recommend this company. My cat happened to vomit once during the waiting period and once right after the waiting period was over. After the second episode, I was concerned that the vomiting may have been caused from eating a roach and took him to the vet. Even though there was no mention of vomiting in the medical history notes I got from my cat’s previous owner, they classified vomiting as “gastroenteritis” and denied any other later claims involving vomiting as a pre-existing condition. The only explanation I could find is that I mentioned to the vet that first time that the previous owner said he would vomit if he ate too much at one time. Feeding only half of a 3 ounce can solved that problem. When my cat had a problem of repeated vomiting with loss of appetite, which was distinctly different from his occasional vomiting followed by desire to eat, I took him to the the vet ER. X-ray showed a grainy substance in his intestines, which appeared to be passing through and lab work showed mildly elevated white blood cell count. MetLife denied this charge, which was over $1,000, due to a pre-existing condition (“gastroenteritis”). How can an acute condition which could be seen on x-ray and caused elevation of WBC count be associated with one episode of vomiting months before? I appealed the denial and lost. My contention was that vomiting, even if it is called “gastroenteritis” is a symptom and can be caused by many different conditions (eating too fast, eating too much, lymphoma, hyperthyroidism, IBD, etc.). I have seen that other pet owners have had claims denied because of symptoms rather than diagnoses. I am left to wonder if the reviewers don’t take the time to read the claims fully or don’t have the necessary medical knowledge. This company was a total waste of money and I cancelled my policy.

I didn't like the fact that my insurance went up $11.00 a month cause of a $30.00 parking ticket I had 5 years ago. Other than that I was pleased. Thanks 😁

They deny every claim
They deny every claim, typically citing a lack of records, even though they're attached. They used to not suck, but they're turning into United Healthcare. Don't waste your money, they don't offer any semblance of insurance here.

My reimbursement
My reimbursement was half completed . You forgot a whole other factor and I had to phone you to fix it. Also your pricing for my dog is more than my monthly health insurance that somehow sounds way out of reality !
