Many $500.00 deductible.
Met my deductible of $500.00 on my Cockapoos' skin & ear "group" so now if there are anymore problems in those areas it will be covered 90%! Did not know there are groups for each $500.00 deductible. Not to happy about all the groups to pay $500.00 EACH before they will help pay!

Pumpkin has been beyond extremely…
Pumpkin has been beyond extremely helpful for our family. They’ve covered so many things for us that, without them, would have been very difficult to afford. Most recently, our little girl Brooklynn (Boston Terrier) had to have 12 teeth removed and needed to see a dental specialist. The total cost came out to $5,600, and Pumpkin covered $5,000 of it. Even more impressive, the reimbursement was in our account within just 17 minutes. That level of support and speed is incredible. We’ve told many people about Pumpkin, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet insurance.

Affordable, but claims and support are frustrating
I’m sharing my genuine experience with MetLife Pet Insurance based on several years of using the service for my aging cats. The coverage itself is acceptable, and affordability is the main reason I’ve stayed with MetLife as I got it through my work, as it’s one of the few options I could find that fits my budget for older pets. They do allow claims to be submitted despite a pre‑existing condition from many years ago, which I appreciated initially. However, in practice, every claim I’ve submitted has been denied and linked back to that same historical condition, even when my veterinarian has stated the issue is unrelated. This has been a consistent outcome and has made the claims process frustrating. My experience with customer service has also been mixed. When I’ve called to ask questions about claim decisions, I’ve found some representatives difficult to engage with when I asked for clarification. During one call, the interaction felt unprofessional, which added to the frustration. Additionally, the online chat feature has rarely worked for me, limiting support options. Overall, MetLife Pet Insurance provides basic, affordable coverage, which may work for some people, especially those with older pets. That said, based on my experience, responsiveness, professionalism, and claim handling could be improved.

Pets Best Pet Insurance is the Best!
"After researching the matter, I selected Pet's Best Insurance. I'm glad I did. I only wish I had done so sooner. Had I known to get my Chi/Rat Terrier's teeth cleaned,by age 2 (I think), they would cover any future periodontal disease. I chose Accident/Illness, at the lowest deductible, and they have covered everything, according to the plan I selected. I am very pleased with Pet's Best.”
Peace of mind
We are leaving for a cross-country trip/move in a few weeks and wanted coverage before our journey. The process was easy, simple, and reassuring.
