Fair pricing with what is going on these days.
Maybe a little expensive at first but they are more than fair. Prices have gone up in all categories so I don't blame then for a little bump in price. Not a bad responsive time once you file a claim. They offer tiered plans which are great.

They are fast, reliable and reimburse claims
They are fast, friendly and actually reimburse for legitimate vet costs, unlike corrupt companies like Metlife Pet Insurance. Spot also offers a convenient way to file claims online or via email. Their monthly premium is excellent. The only Improvement I can think of. Is for Spot to insure rabbits as well. I highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance to all other dog owners.

Great user friendly website for claims
I pay monthly, but I've already gotten back a lot of my monthly fees due to my dog having liver enzyme issues.

When you need the insurance you’ve been paying for the most, Healthy Paws does this
I’ve had Healthy Paws insurance for my cat for 10-years, despite the premiums going up every single year. Last year’s increase was a full 20%. For years I’ve had a $500 deductible and 90% reimbursement rate. Last December, the month prior to renewal in January, the company unilaterally decreased the reimbursement rate to 70%. Their explanation for this was that “older pets sometimes needing more vet care”. Which is code for, “We’re increasing your premium by 20%, reducing your reimbursement rate, and you’re stuck with us because your pet has a pre-existing condition no other insurance will cover and we’ll just make sure we make more profit than we have to pay out”. It’s a disgusting and should be criminal act of profiteering. Fortunately for Healthy Paws, because I know all they care about is their profit margins, my cat has an aggressive form of cancer and pretty soon they won’t have to worry about reimbursing me for anymore vet care because she’ll be dead. At a time in her life when I’ll need to provide her with vet care in order to just be as comfortable as she can, I now have to factor in what I can and cannot afford for her care because her insurance company is more concerned about squeezing out every penny by refusing to reimburse me at the rate I contracted for and have been paying higher premiums for every year for a decade. It’s absolutely disgusting. Avoid this company at all cost.

Way quicker process to receive…
Way quicker process to receive reimbursement than anticipated. Pleasantly surprised and much appreciated as I really need the money.

I have been a member since 2022 and…
I have been a member since 2022 and have two dogs and lately I have had to call after EVERY claim for discrepancies or denials. Juneau has been getting allergy shot for two years, the last several months have either been denied or short paid and needed to be re-submitted, then paid. If I did not keep such good records, I would of been out of luck. I used to refer everyone (even your employees) to get Met Life Pet Insurance, not any more! Also getting extremely expensive, Juneau's policy went up 50%. I am now retired so getting harder to pay, both dogs are over $ 500 month.

So far
So far, this insurance company has been “spot on”. I was worried when they said they were changing providers, but I’m getting the same coverage for less now. I purchased emergency only, but added routine medical which I had forgotten about. I just went to investigate the change in ownership, and submitted my vaccination receipt, easily on the app, and received payment via direct deposit. Easy peasy….

Peace of Mind From a Trusted Organization
We were leery of pet insurance, but wanted to get some peace of mind and thought at the very least this could help an organization we support. What a good decision - one cat ended up in urgent care for a blocked bladder, another had major teeth issues. Claims are easy to file and process, and we've more than gotten our money's worth.

I was a Healthy Paws customer for over…
I was a Healthy Paws customer for over 9 years, since my dog was a puppy, and added my second dog about 2 years ago. In that entire time, I never missed a payment. My payment card was compromised and had to be replaced. In the process of updating accounts, I didn't catch that Healthy Paws' billing hadn't been updated with the new card. I missed the notice they say they sent, and the policy was cancelled for non-payment. When I reached out, I explained the situation, asked to pay the past-due amount immediately, and requested reinstatement given my long, clean history. I called, I emailed, and I sent a written follow-up. Every response was the same: they could not reinstate the policy and I would need to enroll in a brand new one. Nine years of loyalty and a perfect payment record apparently counts for nothing the moment a single payment is missed for a documented, one-time reason. I ended up shopping for and switching to a different insurer entirely (for MUCH better coverage and CHEAPER!). If you're weighing long-term loyalty as a reason to choose this company, know that it won't buy you any flexibility when something goes wrong.
