Great company!

We have been with PetsBest since we brought our baby girl home! She has now had knee surgery on both legs for torn ligaments. We filed a claim on her insurance and have been very pleased with the results! To file a claim you just have to send a photo of the receipt and they handle everything else! It takes about a month or so for larger amounts but they always keep you posted on your claim! They have paid exactly as the policy says! Would definitely recommend!

I filed my first claim after 2 years of coverage. There is a LONG delay in receiving reimbursement and website is cumbersome and confusing. I keep receiving emails ‘apologizing for the delay’ but no explanation about why it’s taking so long.

Denied my dog’s truth — they said Lilly was diagnosed when she never was 💔

I’m devastated by how Spot handled my dog Lilly’s claim. They denied it saying she had already been “diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease,” which is completely untrue. In June, Lilly only had slightly elevated enzyme levels — no diagnosis, no treatment, and no indication of kidney disease from her veterinarian. I switched to Spot because my previous insurer discontinued her policy and I wanted to keep protecting her in her final years. Instead of compassion, I received a denial based on false assumptions. Lilly is now gone, and the pain of losing her is already unbearable. What hurts even more is knowing this company made it worse — turning my grief into a battle to defend the truth. No pet parent should be made to feel guilty or dismissed when all they did was love and care for their animal. I hope Spot learns to treat families with honesty and empathy. 💔 — Jenny Naranjo

MetLife Claim Submission - Easy & Efficient

- The online claim process is very simple and easy. - Documents from the Vet can be loaded in the format I receive them directly to the claim. - An email verifies receipt and updates are posted to your email. The interface was recently updated. It is also easy to use. There were a few problems with the application accepting multiple documents on the evening I was entering a new claim. If it were not for this problem, I would have scored a 5 out of 5.
