Be sure to use the same language when submitting a claim
Vet tech submitted the claim with the wrong description, even though the description is part of the diagnosis. Claim was not approved until the following day. Why? What if I wasn't able to pay the full amount at the time? This has happened prior, when the description wasn't correct, I called Trupanion and the claim was reversed and then approved immediately while on the phone. Not sure why this was not handled the same way. Other than that we have been delighted with Trupanion!

Would Not have a dog with out Trupanion Insurance
I have had insurance for my dogs with Trupanion since they where puppies. I would not go with out it. I never worry about having to go the Vet or Hospital as I know that my Insurance has got my dogs covered and my dogs can have the best medical care at all times. Cost is not an issue becuase of the insurance .

Very happy I chose MetLife for my fur baby!
This is the first pet insurance company I’ve used for my 3rd beagle Violet. The claim application is simple to use….the turnover and processing of claims speedy and payments received quickly. Customer service has always been very helpful the few times I have called. I definitely recommend MetLife coverage for your pets.

Embrace Pat insurance is very helpful
Embrace Pat insurance is very helpful. Easy, especially with their app to Download claims and they get back to you very quickly with your reimbursement, either by mail or direct deposit. I have had embrace pet insurance since my dog has been a puppy. She is 6 years old now. And it has really helped us to have this for her & ourselves.

PREDATORY PRACTICES: Embrace Ignores Specialist Evidence to Deny $6,638 ClaimDo not trust
They are using circular, junk-science logic to deny a $6,638 diagnostic claim for my cat’s bone-eroding pathology 。They claim a common runny nose from Feb 2025 is the same as 2026 Erosive Rhinitis。Their logic? Since I didn't perform a $6,000 CT scan for a minor sneeze a year ago, they can "assume" any future issue is pre-existing。This is an impossible standard of care.Even when a DACVIM Specialist clarified that the conditions are unrelated and the previous infection was never proven, Embrace refused to overturn the denial 。They are overriding a specialist’s medical diagnosis with their adjusters' speculation. Formal complaint filed with the California Department of Insurance.

Great experience and coverage
I have had a great experience with Fetch. Shortly after getting both my cats insured, one of them developed bladder stones and had to have surgery to have them removed. Fetch covered 90% after my deductible which was several thousand dollars. Last month one of her teeth broke and she needed unplanned dental surgery. Again, Fetch covered her $2000 dental bill at 90%. It has more than paid for itself and quick reimbursement within 2 weeks! I have recommended to several of my co-workers, especially because of dental coverage.

We bought pet insurance for our 8 year…
We bought pet insurance for our 8 year old cat. MetLife refused to pay ANYTHING for our visit, due to a "pre-existing condition" of gastritis. They wouldn't pay for a routine lab panel for an elderly cat, fecal test, nothing. We paid over $900 for insurance, and got zero for this. I didn't trust they would ever pay for anything so we cancelled.

15 years of excellent service!
We have been with Embrace since 2011 when we adopted our first Lab mix. From the start, Embrace has been quick to cover every expense without any questions. Our first dog, died from a brain tumor and our current Lab mix from Houston, has had multiple health issues that have amounted to thousands of dollars! His primary vet calls him the million dollar dog! It has been reassuring to know that Embrace has supported our dogs' health every step of the way!

Outrageous Premium increase
I was always satisfied with Fetch. Customer service is very good and claims were paid on time. I haven’t had a claim in well over 3 years and always felt the annual increases were tolerable until now. Last years premium was 712.00, for the next premium it was quoted at 2,140.00 for a 6 year old healthy female dog. Clearly this is price gouging and needs to be addressed. I filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney General and hope some action is taken. I got a quote from an equally reputable conduct for 775.00 Why is there such a huge increase from Fertch?
