Lump Removal

Gracie had a lump on her head just above her left eye. I noticed it was growing larger each month. I took her to the vet and they removed it. Embrace paid quickly.

Trixie thanks ASPCA insurance!

We had just purchased pet insurance, and had it for sometime when our rambunctious little dog Trixie stepped on a fox tail while chasing a bunny at her favorite park. what cost us close to $300 ended up costing about $100 plus dollars. And that was at an emergency clinic, which we all know can be very expensive. we are so glad we had ASPCA pet insurance. And so is Trixie, still chasing bunnies, but not in that fox tail infested field anymore.

Very Positive experience with Pets Best Insurance

I have been so impressed with Pets Best Insurance. We have had the policy for over one year and it has been so wonderful to have the peace of mind of having this insurance. We have had to file claims and they are processed effectively and in an fast manner. They have sent us emails stating that they are requesting our dog's medical records so we are aware of what the process is. But most of all beside the professionalism and service every time I call to ask a question they say "How is Maxx?", our dog. We appreciate an company that cares about our dog as much as we do. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering pet insurance.

Incredible Customer Service!

Thankfully I have yet to use our insurance coverage for anything major, but each and every single time I have dealt with Embrace, I get an immediate and positive response. I am not the only customer who feels this way. I chose Embrace after I read the positive remarks made by a number of Embrace customers on more than one Golden Retriever Forum. Apparently, many Newf owners are just as happy. I'd also like to take the time to explain why I chose to insure my two. If one day my two are faced with cancer I do not want to make treatment decisions based on finances alone. Embrace allows me Peace of Mind. I'd also like to send out a big Thank you to Embrace for supporting Meggie's cause.

Great Company, need to work on wait times

I purchased my policy in July with a very healthy mixed breed. In October I noticed that she was lethargic, breathing strangely, and just wasn't herself. We took her to the emergency vet immediately and it turns out she had both Pneumonia and Gastroenteritis. $,2000 later I submitted my claim and received about $1,500 back. The claim processing time was reasonable, though I do agree with previous reviews regarding the ridiculous wait times to speak with an agent.

Horrible experience with PetsBest

After being insured with PetsBest for almost one year, I filed my pet's first claim to find out that even though my pet was covered, the $34 dollars would not be paid. When I called the customer service representative, I was given a long-winded run-around and then finally told that if I wanted to pursue the matter, I would need to hire an attorney. My 8 year old German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with spinal-myopathy, a degeneration disease that was supposed to be covered with my policy. It wasn't and so I have cancelled the policy and will try to warn everyone that this company is one large weasel!!

Two Claims/18 month German Shepherd

I have only had two problems with my 18 month German Shepherd, both minor - and Pets Best has paid minus the $75 deductible. The second problem, a seed husk in the eye was taken care of, BUT, I didn't understand, whether the deductible was for one year or for each occurrence. You should tell your people that e-mail can come across as rude. I would have liked the respondent to have said "thank you for asking, etc." So, am I going to continue, ?? I see a lot of not so good comments.

HUGE SCAM

Please read my story below...I have filed formal complaints against this company with the BBB, and the Attorney Generals office of both Missouri and OhioI would like to file a formal complaint against PetsHealth Care Plan based in Canton Ohio. Their practices are very deceiving and just plain unethical. I have had a pet insured through their plan since 1998. In the past 10 years I have paid the premium promptly each month and have only made one claim. Back on August 14th I took my dog to the vet because he seemed to be having problems. At first they thought he had some type of intestinal virus and put him on antibiotics and I was to bring him back in a couple of weeks. He seemed to get somewhat better but we returned on August 16th and they thought he might have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. They took blood work and then treated him with additional antibiotics. The blood work came back 3 days later and unfortunately the news was much worse. He was diagnosed with Canine Leukemia. Within two weeks he went completely downhill and we were forced to Euthanize him on August 31st. Understand that I have been insured continually since 1998 on this pet. Now they have refused to pay on a claim from 8/16/08 because they claim that it was a pre-existing condition prior to my policy renewal date of 8/15/08. If this is the case, it should have been covered under the policy prior to 8/15/08. How can they be allowed to deny a claim that was made when my premiums have been paid monthly for the past 10 years. Not only do we have to deal with the grief of losing our pet of 11 years but now we will not get reimbursed for the cost of his care when I have paid over $2400 in premiums over the past 10 years. This is unethical and should not be allowed. I want my premiums refunded to me for the past 10 + years. This type of poor service should not be allowed. At the very least I expect all my claims to be paid
