I was reluctant to purchase pet insurance for my dog, but after my recent experience, I'm happy that I went with healthy paws. My goldendoodle had ingested something toxic and had to stay overnight in a pet hospital. Healthy paws reimbursed me within 10 days of the claim. They also emailed me (a personal email) to see how he was doing afterwards. That added personal attention made me feel like they really cared about my dog. I strongly suggest Healthy Paws.

I wasn't sure about pet insurance for a long time. Then my first dog, Plano, swallowed a bunch of socks and racked up a $2,500 bill. I decided pet insurance was for me after paying out of pocket for that and got it for both Plano and Plinko. Not only did they cover the second time Plano swallowed a sock (accidents aren't pre-existing as long as the first has totally cleared up), but they covered Plinko's torn ACL. Both in the multiple of thousands of dollars. And how quickly they pay claims is just unbelievable. THE BEST!

Our 3 year old German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. I have submitted many claims and they respond with an hour via email telling me the claim is in process. Shortly thereafter I get an email saying the claim is complete and itemizing the payment...The check is mailed shortly after that. I have had to make several calls to them as well just the reassure myself that certain items would be covered (hydroptherapy, acupuncture, etc). Their customer service reps are so helpful and responsive. I am absolutely thrilled with this pet insurance . I never dreamed we would need it for such a devastating diagnosis at such a young age. Having the insurance has been such a help through the whole process. I highly recommend them...and am so grateful to have the insurance. Our GSD is the best dog ever and it is so good to know we can help him get better.

Our standard poodle Gigi suffered the canine equivalent of a broken ankle while running with a friend in the park. It required surgery to repair and fuse the lower part of the ankle (partial tarsal arthrodesis). Our ASPCA coverage helped greatly in covering the expenses of the surgery and the followup during the 10 weeks when she had to be in a cast and then a splint. We are so glad we have ASPCA insurance.

Sometimes you want to save your pet, but you just don't have the money. With that said, I was so happy I had insurance when Socks got sick. The process was easy and the reimbursement fast. I have had two dogs that were insured by Pet's Best. My first dog had cancer, and eventually passed away. During this very sad time for me there were a lot of claims. Pet's Best not only paid them immediately without any problems at all, but, on the few occasions when I had to talk to them, were KIND. Where do you find that?? They actually made me feel better after talking to them.Now I have a new dog, who had an accident, and, again, they paid my claim immediately. I love these guys!

Within the next three weeks we had to use the insurance twice - once for a vaginitis and next for a foxtail in the puppy's nose (ouch). The Vet office sent in the paperwork for reimbursement to Trupanion and immediately Trupanion communicated that they had received the claims. Within days they sent another email describing what portions of the claims they would reimburse, and soon we received the checks in the mail. It was quick, efficient and generous in payments, especially since the first month trial offer carried no deductible. We are very satisfied with Trupanion and will continue with their coverage. Their efforts to communicate clearly and quickly are much appreciated.
