Excellent insurance

My dog, that I obtained when she was a puppy, was covered under PetCares "Qick Care Gold 70%" plan. This was one of those dogs that seemed to get sick with everything that a dog would get. PetCare paid the claims without any trouble and renewed the policy from year to year. My dog eventually contracted cancer and we maxed out the $3,000.00 limit for that illness. Again, they paid the claims to the extent that the policy allowed without any trouble. When my dog eventually died from the cancer, they paid a benefit for cremation. The only downside I found with the policy was the limits on each illness. Once you max it out, that's it for them paying for future care. There was no "fine print" saying this, I knew this when I first bought the insurance. I would recommend this Company with only one reservation. That you be willing to buy enough coverage to cover a particular illness. With the cost of Vet care today, $3,000.00 isn't enough if your dog develops a serious illness, like cancer. For me, it was the first time I bought pet insurance and in the future, will buy more coverage. If you buy their insurance, you will find that they pay timely, are easy to make a claim with, never lose paperwork and are overall, a very good pet insurer.

Exceptional Customer Service

My vet recommended Embrace for our new dog and I'm happy that I took her advice. Our first interaction with the company resulted in a super-fast turnaround of our wellness claim, along with quick processing of our dog's orthepedic waiting period waiver. I received a prompt, personal email that both were received by the company and were being worked on. Then I got a follow-up checking to see that I got my check! Just great work. Keep it up!

Highly Recommend Embrace

I have never had health insurance for my pets before. A few years ago my Frisbee had a torn cruciate ligament, needed surgery and I was completely broke at that time. $2,500 was way out of my league financially, but I managed through an online website to raise enough donations to pay for the surgery. After that, I knew I needed insurance for my dogs so I would not have to go through that again. I researched many insurance companies and they all pretty much said the same thing, there were breed specific exclusions and things like that that did not make much sense to me. Then I found Embrace with no exclusions except routine care. That made sense to me and I bought it. Almost two years later Frisbee came down with cancer and Embrace has been behind me all the way. They reimburse payments within 15 days as they said they would and it is even automatically deposited into my checking account. Through this tough time Embrace and their representatives have been wonderful. I highly recommend Embrace to everyone who asks and lately that has been many people because of all the quality care I have been getting for Frisbee everyone wants to know how I am paying for it, since I am on disability and all. I am glad I did not cancel my policies last summer when I was trimming down my budget, this was the next thing to go and I kept it. Thank God and thank Embrace and thier representatives.

Fantastic!

My 3 year old golden retriever had a bowel obstruction after eating some type of foreign body. She needed a laparotomy, and it was so nice to be able to ensure she got the surgery and care she required without having to worry about taking on such a huge financial burden. It was incredibly easy to get reimbursed my Embrace for her care. It took me less than 1 minute to fill out my part of the paperwork and took the vet 1-2 minutes to do her part. I received my reimbursement within a week with no hassles. As a physician, I only wish it was this easy to deal with people insurance! Thank you Embrace!

Excellent!!

We've had Embrace on our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ever since we got her almost 3 years ago. It was important for us to have insurance because Cavaliers have several hereditary issues, and these are covered as long as they don't have problems prior to being insured. Well, 3 years, one UTI, tearduct surgery, and TWO knee surgeries later (with subsequent removal of pins), I am VERY pleased with Embrace. They have been extremely fair and prompt when handling our claims. Their customer service is awesome and have even checked up on us after her surgeries. I've recommended this company to everyone I know with pets. We will definitely use Embrace for all of our future dogs!

Wonderful Company

We've had PetsBest for 1 year now for our 3 dogs (2 Greyhounds and a senior Golden) and have been extremely pleased. Even with these tough economic times, our policy only increased in cost a little this year. PetsBest was one of the few companies that would even insure our senior dog, and the cost is only a little more than for our young boys. PetsBest also covers acupuncture/holistic care, should you be interested in an alternative approach to pet health care. All claims were paid promptly, with no hassles, and the customer service has been outstanding! I highly recommend this company.

PetFirst Review

We have had pets all of our lives and never considered pet insurance until about a year ago. We decided to get involved in the local Dachshund rescue and saw all the problems that these dogs can acquire. Well, we have 2 Dachshunds of our own and decided we had better be safe than sorry. We have been with PetFirst for a year now and have submitted 2 rountine care claims and 2 illness claims to them. They pay what they say they will pay so, we are very happy about that. They do take about 4 weeks to reimburse you, however. You have to mail in the claim forms with the receipts from the Vet and this adds to the delay of getting the refund. we feel that if they had a fax number to send in the forms this would expedite the process a bit. Overall we feel that this insurance has been a good idea. Although none of our claims have been for very much money, we feel that this insurance could be a life saver if something serious ever happens to our precious pups.....just wish it didn't take so long to get reimbursed.

Don't Be Fooled

Embrace does a really great job of following up with you to make sure you get everything in they need to get you started filing claims. Sounds great right?!?! Too bad they will not cover anything that could REMOTELY relate to any treatment given to your pet prior to your policy with them. So, if your pet has taken an allergy pill before they will not cover any subsequent allergy problems. Don't fall for it like I did!

Thank You PetFirst

I have had the basic plan for my indoor cat for about 1 1/2 years. I have only had to use it for his annual visits until recently. In fact, I almost canceled it, thinking I would never need it. I am glad I didn't cancel. Last month, my cat had a urinary blockage. I had to take him to a 24 hour emergency clinic. The bill was $1,300 and I wasn't sure how much would be covered. After the $50 deductible, they reimbursed 90% of the bill, no questions asked. The only thing that wasn't covered was the food. Even the follow up visits were reimbursed at 90%. I don't know how I would have afforded the bill without PetFirst.

Customer relations are top-notch!!

I switched from VPI to Embrace after VPI refused to insure my year old Aussie because of IBD. Though his condition is excluded, Embrace had no problem insuring both my dogs, and it's a good thing! About a month after joining, the same dog was diagnosed with heartworm, which he contracted prior to me getting him. Embrace has been wonderful in responding to my inquiries and in sending the reimbursements with best wishes for a his speedy recovery. All of my emails are answered quickly and the agents are a pleasure to talk to. Definately the best choice in my opinion.
