Finally! Insurance for alternative care!

Embrace has been extremely responsive in not only helping me choose the right type of insurance for my pup, but in paying claims quickly. Whenever there has been a question as to coverage, a simple phone call - to a real person - immediately gets me results. I am so thrilled to finally be able to have pet insurance that covers alternative care. I use homeopathy and chiropractic, to name a few modalities, and Embrace covers it! I am also pleased that we are covered for all types of emergencies, and the cost is exceptionally reasonable. I have recommended this insurance to anyone who is looking!

Just say NO

I am a veterinarian, and have a client whose dog was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on April 28, and whose policy renewed on May 1. ASPCA insurance covered the cost of the biopsy, but not a penny of the $20,000 the client spent in the following year. I was appalled that the ASPCA would put their name on such a deceptive policy. Each year when the plan renews, it is written as a new policy, and anything the pet is being treated for is then considered a preexisting condition. I find this tactic egregious and unethical.

Very nice to have.

Pets Best Insurance provided the extra coverage I needed to ensure that my dog Lucy got the best care through the last year of her life. After being diagnoses with the onset of heart failure, Pets Best made it possible for me to give her a great quality last year of her life. Her policy covered a large amount of vet visits and procedures as well as her mounting medication costs. Claims were easily submitted and processed quickly. I would recommend Pets Best to anyone who has a pet that they care dearly about. It was a great comfort when Lucy fell ill.

Only the best for my boys.

Most pet insurance companies have set reimbursements for certain things...but Pets Best does not, which means my boys will always be able to get the best of the best. My dog, Cooper, ate a palm nut right after we moved from Colorado to Fort Myers Florida and got extremely ill. Luckily I had Pets Best insurance for him and they reimbursed most of the expenses for his several day hospital stay and er visit which included specialists care. Sadly enough I think my boys insurance with pets best is better than my health insurance.

Awesome

I was so fortunate to have bought the insurance for my Honey, her surgery and chemo was covered till it was over, I would have been "lost" without it. What a blessing.

Don't buy ASPCA!!! RUN NOW!

ASPCA PET INSURANCE!!RUN! RUN! RUN! DON’T TRUST THEM!!!! THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE HECK OF A SALES PITCH, THEN SAY THEY CAN FIND THE RECORDED CONVERSATION!! DON’T TRUST THEM..NOT WITH YOUR BABY!!!! RUN, DON’T BUY, GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY!! THE OTHER COMPANIES ARE ALL BETTER THAN THIS ONE…PET-SMARTING IS HOW YOUR CHARGE WILL APPEAR…TREMINDS ME OF LYING TELEMARKETERS!!!They do not disclose facts for coverage. They charged my account on the 6th of February but decided to change coverage to 2/15/2010 so that they would not have to pay. They also denied a claim on 3/18 for the reason of falling within 30 days (not even disclosing)and after I pointed out it was longer than 30 days they changed to pre-existing. When I inially called no preesisting issues were discussed. They claim they cover meds but don’t expect the vet bill to write the prescriptions to be covered..even if it is a vet approval/prescibed needed medication. They claim it was preexisting but he didnt pre exist, he was a puppy!! I called 8 times and email 5 times and until I decided to deny charges, I never received a call. How can alleries be a pre-existing issue on a brand new puppy? If they cover Revalution, a prescribed med for fleas, heatworms, etc..than why wouldn’t they cover his 1st visit to the doctors as an annual exam. They say they cover meds, but don’t expect it…,.,$500.00 later and The best plan they offer at almost $80.00 a month and absolutly nothing execpt a little towards the $100.00 deductible was covered.

I Picked The Right Insurance Company

I have nothing but good to say about Embrace. The claims process is quick and easy. The reimbursement checks were delivered in a timley manner. One of my dogs came down with Valley Fever and a few months later he broke a bone in his paw. I estimate that I saved about 80% on the vet bills so far. I would recommend Embrace to friends or family without hesitation. Keep up the good work! Dan PS: Please add "Puggle" to your breed selection list.

efficient

I am very pleased with the quick and cordial processing of the two claims that I have submitted thus far. I appreciate the "personal" attention and the fact that there appeared to be no strings attached to the reimbursements. My puppies (Benny and June) are very happy too!

Encourages wellness with the coverage

We have had ASPCA pet insurance on our 7 year-old Lab, Crusoe, for 2 years. We selected Level 4 of insurance which covers a number of wellness procedures. We had dental work done, including an extraction, as well as cleaning and this was covered. They also cover shots and heartworm meds and tests. Having this insurance makes it affordable to keep our dog healthy. He has had a couple of ear infections (common for the breed) and treatment is covered.

Pet insurance is a must!

Should something catastrophic happen to our dear boy, Tyler, I don't want my choices to come down to money. We have become extremely attached to our terrier mix. Some years we have benefitted from having insurance, some years we haven't used it at all. Until the money starts growing on the trees in my backyard, I will keep paying my premiums! Tyler is 11 now, so I feel we could be coming into his stage of life where the big issues could arise. Pet insurance gives me peace of mind, knowing we'll be able to take good care of him until the end. My tip is to get insurance on your pet when they are young and healthy.
