I have been very satisfied with Embrace and their

I researched pet insurance companies before embrace, and Embrace had the highest ratings. Angel was 6 months old when insured. She is now 3. Embrace has always acknowledged claim immediately and settled within 2 weeks. Thank you.

Thankful!

My Precious 13-year-old Baby, Zazu, started vomiting on September 30, 2010. By 2:30 AM on October 1st, he had vomited seven times. My husband and I knew that something wasn’t right, so we took him to the Animal Emergency Room in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was admitted on an emergency basis but transferred over to the Internal Medicine Department when that department came in at 8:00 AM. After an extensive examination, My Precious Zazu was diagnosed as having an aneurysm. We had two choices: we could try to treat it with medication (which was not recommended), or he could have a very risky emergency surgery. Because of where the aneurysm was, My Baby could have died on the operating table. Nevertheless, we chose the surgery because his situation was dire either way. Thankfully, Zazu’s surgery was a success! Although, Zazu’s health was priority to us, paying for the expensive care was a concern. Earlier this year, I received some information in the mail about ASPCA Pet Insurance. I did a lot of research and decided to take advantage of the Free-Trial Period. Then, I signed up four of my Babies. And, today, I am so thankful that I did. We had to pay for Zazu’s care upfront (which has totaled close to $7000.00); but, once I submitted the medical claims, ASPCA Insurance promptly sent reimbursement checks to me. After the $100.00 deductible, I received 80% of the standard fees for my area. And, I can assure you that the 80% was very helpful. Buying I

BOO BOO BELLY

Story:Last month my Great Dane, Willow, had an episode of "boo-boo"belly (decreased appetite, diarrhea).  I wasn't too concerned at first, until she decided to have large amounts of bright red, bloody diarrhea--YIKES!  I am an ER RN, but that frightened even me.  I came to find out (after an expensive visit to my vet) , that the condition is fairly common, and is called "Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis". Willow made a speedy recovery, and is her big, playful self-- but I must say that the timing of her illness couln't have come at a worse time as far as finances were concerned-- ASPCA Pet Insurance saved the day! I can't tell you how glad I am that I finally decided to purchase pet insurance, and I'm glad I chose ASPCA.

Just what we need.

When we got our last dog, we decided to get pet insurance. We are retired and on a fixed income. Our last dog had lots of problems and our vet bills were frequent. So far we have had two expensive emergencies. One was poisoning from mushrooms and the other was from eating grapes. The latter also met an overnight stay at the vet hospital. We probably would have to consider not having pets if we didn't insurance.

As Advertised.

I purchased your insurance on both of my Irish terrier pups, male & female littermates. Healthy and no problem for about two years, and then things started to happen. Baxter developed auto-immune disease, almost lost him. My vet took over, and after various heavy medications and tests, he recovered. Pets Best paid 80%, as advertised. He later developed an intense allergy, itched everywhere. After Tests and medication, he is well on the way back to normal. Pets Best paid 80%, as advertised.Maggie, our girl dog planted a kiss on me, and I noticed bad breath--highly unusual. I looked inb her mouth, and found a yellow tooth, and discolored gum above it. The vet found a busted tooth, had to be pulled. Thc claim is currently in process, but I habve no doubt that it will be paid 80&, as advertised. It would be foolhardy to own a dog without Pets-Best Insurance--my opinion. Thank you.

Excellent Insurance

I really love this insurance and have advised my vet's office multiple times to spread the word. I have an English Bulldog which is prone to breed specific illnesses and this is the only insurance I could find to cover him. I get 90% of the money back for all covered things and it is very hassle free. The fact that I can fax my claim and have the money within a week is another thing I am great full for. The only thing I'd like is if the actual vet exam was covered if the exam is for an illness or something other than a typical visit.

We couldn't be more pleased!

Our dog, Ollie, just went through his second TTA surgery (both knees). We had Embrace coverage for both of his operations (the first one 2 years ago) and can't be more pleased. There were no surprises with either claim and they paid them quicker than we ever imagined. Beyond that they emailed often checking on Ollie's progress so we felt that not only were we in good hands from an insurance prospective, but were comforted knowing the Embrace folks care and feel a passion for animals. We hold them in the highest regard and feel so fortunate to have chosen Embrace coverage for both our dog and cat!

Great Experience

I was skeptical about getting pet insurance at first because I thought "what could ever go wrong?" Well let me tell you that anything and everything can go wrong. I searched the various pet insurance companies and I settled for Trupanion for several reasons. The first was that they would cover 90% of illnesses and accidents, the second being that there wasn't a yearly limit, and the third was the price. Even though the price was comparable, and in some cases lower, to other insurance companies that wasn't what brought me to Trupanion, it was #1 and #2. Now back to why I have had a great experience. My 1 year old female yellow lab came down with diarrhea that lasted for over a week. As other pet owners can attest to, diarrhea for that long can be deadly. I brought my girl to the vet for the initial examination and they ended up taking x-rays, prescribed medication and put her on some gentle food. That didn't totally work so I had to bring her back a second time again for another round of x-rays and different medication. After 8 or so days the diarrhea subsided and my girl was back to full health. As you can imagine the vet bill was costly but worth every dollar spend. I paid both bills in full but it sure was nice to have Trupanion on my side. They indeed paid 90% of the bill associated with the vet visits and didn't nickel and dime me to the point where they didn't pay anything. In fact they paid a great portion of the bill. My reluctance to purchase pet in

Surprised and pleased!

My Husky recently turned 9 and I realized I'd better get some insurance. My vet recommended ASPCA and after doing some comparisons, I decided to go with them. I got the total plan, including wellness coverage. I'm glad I did and am very pleased with the plan and the company. I received a very low reimbursement for my first claim for a teeth cleaning and two abstractions. I called ASPCP to inquire why and found out my vet had made a mistake in filing. Michelle, the agent I worked with, helped me get the correct information from the vet and then initiated an in-house review so that I got the adjusted amount quickly. I really hadn't expected an insurance company to be so concerned about getting me the biggest reimbursement possible. I have filed some claims since and have been very fairly reimbursed. The policy ain't cheap, but it's well worth the peace of mind I get from knowing my dog has as good coverage as the other members of my family.

Great company!!

I typically never write reviews but Trupanion has been unbelievable and I wanted to share my experience. My cat is 12 years old and last year I started shopping for an insurance company because although she had always been healthy she was getting older. It was hard to find an insurance company that would cover an older cat indefinitely, especially with all the sketchy reviews. I finally decided to stick to Trupanion and that was the best decision I made. I have 90% coverage, no deductible and they even improved my policy after enrollment and waived my lifetime limit (which was 20,000 when I signed) A couple of months after my policy started, my cat got sick and she required multiple tests and visits to the vet. I have filed approx 6-7 claims (probably total >1000$) and I have been extremely surprised and pleased. They have never denied a claim and on the contrary they go out of their way to make sure that everything is processed in a timely manner. Their claims are usually processed in 2-4 days and I usually get the checks the following week. I am a very satisfies costumer and have recommended Trupanion to all my friends who are pet lovers!!
