Frosty has been with Pet Insurance for almost all of his 13years. He tore his knee cap at 3 years old and we were paid for his operation quickly.He has had a very sad 2014 (blind and many other troubles) Our ASPCA insurance have been there for him and us. We appreciate their support.

Hello, I just read through some of the reviews for Trupanion and I can't believe anyone would have anything but great things to say about this company. My experience has been 100% positive. I read a couple of the negative reviews that Trupanion didn't pay for hardly anything. What I tell people is, don't wait until your pet has a condition. Get the insurance just in case. When I share my story I am amazed when people say I will wait until my pet gets older. Big mistake, it's a gamble because animals get sick when they are young also. I just got lucky because I signed up when my dog was completely healthy with no health issues and he was older. I was in Pet Food Express in Mill Valley, CA and one of the staff recommended pet insurance for my 10 year old Doberman. Hugh was in excellent health and I could not for see him ever having any health issues however, I wanted to make sure if he did I could give him the very best care without worrying about the cost of care. If you are looking for pet insurance I can't say enough great things about Trupanion. Trupanion reimbursed $30,867 in less than a year for my 12 year old Doberman Hugh. My deductible was $500 and they paid 90% after the deductible with no limit. The service is also amazing. Each time I called, I have spoken with a very friendly healthful representative. The company is made up of animal lovers. I signed up with Trupanion on July 10th, 2012. Hugh was diagnosed with an Osteosarcoma (bone cancer in his back leg) August 12th, 2013. I scheduled surgery with an orthopedic surgeon in San Francisco. They amputated his leg August 14th. Trupanion called right after the surgery to ask, how's Hugh doing? Not once was the amount of his care brought up. They were genuinely concerned about how he was doing. The bills for the week of surgery were over $9000 and then they continued because I had to act fast because they gave him less than 6 months to live if I did not do chemo. Even though Trupanion would pay for chemo which is very expensive, I did not want to go this route for treatment. I choose to treat Hugh holistically and Trupanion paid for all the holistic care and supplements that the vet prescribed. After a few weeks of recovery I put him into rehab. Hydro therapy, Acup

Excellent claim handling again. Picked my dog up at the vets @ 11:00 a.m. and I already had an email @ 3:05 the same day stating how much the insurance company would cover and that a cheque had been processed already.

We are new to Embrace but we are already impressed. They seem to be true to their word when they sold us the insurance. We picked up the insurance when our Golden was just turning five. Now at almost six years old he has been diagnosed with a heart condition. When you pick up insurance at a later age there are some pre existing condition exclusions which could be wiggle room for Embrace for non payment. With this new diagnosis we felt they made their reimbursement decisions fairly. They have been terrific about recognizing it is a new condition. The claims department has great customer service and response time. The EOB's (Explanation of Benefits ) statements are clear and understandable and payment of reimbursements are swift. We are very happy so far.

After thorough research on pet insurance for our 8 week old Labrador puppy and Healthy Paws was at the top of the list. My wife was a bit skeptical because the coverage and low monthly premium seemed too good to be true. We went ahead and purchased the pet insurance through Healthy Paws, hoping that we would never have to use it. Unfortunately, we did have to use the insurance due to multiple issues in the past few months and our puppy just turned 11 months. We have lost count of how many times we had to go to the vet for blood work and x-rays. This was the test as to whether Healthy Paws was really too good to be true. They are amazing! Everything from communication to their customer service to the reimbursement process was great. They acknowledge and confirm anything we have submitted to them by email. If we have questions, the customer service representatives are knowledgeable and friendly. As soon as our reimbursement request is approved, we receive a check within a week. AND they have sent us a personal note to check in on our puppy, which we appreciated. The past few months have been stressful, but Healthy Paws never added to that stress. I was surprised at how quickly Trupanion set up the ongoing claim for Pollie's Addison's Disease. The fact that they have the Trupanion Express Claim where they will pay the veterinary clinic 90% of the claim once the one time deductible per condition at the time of the appointment is wonderful.

Recently my little girl Saedee got bit by a dog at the dog park. She had to have a little surgery and stitches in the emergency room. I never thought this would happen to my sweet little girl but within a minute she was attacked to the tune of $810. My claim with Healthy Paws was handled professionally and with care for my precious Saedee. They were concerned for her from beginning to end. I have had Healthy Paws insurance for a few years now and am very happy with them. I received my reimbursement check within 2 weeks. I would highly recommend . I did a lot of research before choosing them and they have proven themself time and time again. So happy to have this insurance with them.
