Embrace helps us save Gracie's life
I am so thankful that we have Embrace for out Gracie (The Super Doodle) Due to her being such a ball playing girl, she miss stepped and torn/broke her right wrist beyond fixing without major surgery to fuse her wrist. With pins, plates, rods, bone grafting and many visits to the Vet and multiple x-rays our girl is healing and will remain Super!! Honestly, with out the insurance, Gracie may have been put down because of the cost to help her. Embrace stayed in contact with me and never gave me any problems and always acted quickly to settle claims. They made me feel that getting Gracie back on all fours was important to them. I am grateful for all the help Embrace has offered us.

Very dissatisfied with coverage
I am a veterinary technician as well as the owner of a dog training facility in New Mexico. I have recommended Trupanion to clients on countless occasions. I have 2 dogs of my own who have had insurance through Trupanion since I have owned them. One has had coverage since she was about 10 weeks old and she is now 5 years old. The other dog was rescued from a shelter 10 months ago and she is now about 18 months old now. Thankfully, I have never had a claim. On my recommendation, my mother (who is elderly) recently obtained coverage for her dog as well. Unfortunately my mom's dog was slipped while running an agility course and began limping. The dog had been insured for about 3 weeks at the time of the injury. Trupanion has refused to cover the injury, calling it an illness instead. They stated that the dog must have been unhealthy and thus was predisposed to a lameness because a healthy dog would not have come up lame. I feel like they used an unlikely loophole to avoid paying on his injury. I have never heard of a lameness from an acute injury being regarded as an illness, and I don believe a "healthy" dog couldn't develop a lameness after a fall.

Great Pet Insurance
We have had this pet insurance for now three dogs for about of 10 years. I researched different pet insurance companies before hand and decided on this one because of the reviews and the ratings. I think this is a great pet insurance company to work with and so far I haven't had any problems. The only thing is that it can take awhile to get reimbursed and not everything is covered.

Fantastic Insurance - so happy to have
I had heard horror stories from people about the lack of coverage pet insurance really provides and wanted to make sure we were getting something that would work. I researched and compared a lot of pet insurance companies and in the end Nationwide came out on top. They were the only company that covered preventative care (via the Wellness Plan) with a lower deductible and high percentage of coverage. We knew that we'd meet the deductable with basic exams, vaccines, and flea meds and anything random would be covered.
Unfortunately for our pup, and us, we put it to the test when she tore her ACL. ACL repair is not easy and it's really expensive. We moved forward with the surgery crossing our fingers that Nationwide would cover what we expected them to cover. It took some time for them to review her records and make the final decision (that was the worst part), but in the end they covered thousands of dollars - from the diagnostic x-rays, surgery, meds, and the follow up x-rays.
We couldn't be happier with the coverage and experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pet insurance carrier.

Great company! Awesome service at ALL times!
We insured our dear dog "Wizard" almost as soon as we got him, when he was just under a year old.Throughout his life, he had some health problems and having ASPCA Pet Insurance, definitely made a difference, specially having the peace of mind of having our loved pet insured.
Every time we submitted a claim (which is super easy to do, and ASPCA offers various options of submitting same), they always processed it super fast and fairly and next you know it, check was in our mail box.
Everyone that works at ASPCA Pet Insurance are real pet lovers and they do care about your pet needs. I always received a follow up call after my claims were processed.
Unfortunately during the past year, "Wizard" had a severe kidney disease which later developed in kidney failure and we had to make the very difficult decision of putting him to sleep. He passed on November 16th 2016. He was twelve years old.
He had an awesome happy life, and also gave us tons of happiness and we have great memories which we will treasure for life!
We love you Wizard!
Thank you ASPCA Pet Insurance for everything you did for "Wizard" throughout his lifetime.

Excellent company, excellent value
I have had policies with several pet insurance companies over the years. Healthy Paws is my absolute favorite. Shorter waiting period after sign up; annual deductable instead of by incident or illness; includes complementary practices without a rider (requires a vet on the premises, though); attractive super easy mobile phone app for submitting claims (snap a picture of the invoice and it’s on its way); quick response; in our experience, no arguments about coverage the way some other insurers do; personable assistance when needed; easy to add additional pets. I find myself telling friends, relatives and total strangers in stores and vet offices about Healthy Paws, highly recommending that they sign up as soon as possible. Excellent company, excellent value.

Easy claims
I was disappointed to see that you are only insures dollar for dollar with the amount you pay with well visits. It seems as though they take out andeductable as well so you could not use all your funds. It appears everything is well visit where there should be other categories, training should be different along with anal squeezing and other things. I found hardly anything falls under the major policy.Filing the claim was great once I found out my cell phone paper work didn't go through. The people whoo do the claims were friendly.

Pets Best should be called Pets Best Insurance
Our 10 year old Mastiff female has been suffering with chronic kidney disease this year. Being able to afford her medical care has been a comfort. Our 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback has just been diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and having insurance has allowed me to give him the medical care he needs. Claims are easy to file (even without the computer) and reimbursement arrives in time to pay the credit card bills. I have used a number of different insurance carriers over the years, but Pets Best has really lived up to their name.

Healthy Paws is Excellent
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for always being there when we really needed it. Choosing Healthy Paws insurance when we got our puppy about 6 years ago was one of the best decisions I have ever made. You make everything so simple and worry free. My family (and Lexi) appreciate that and I can not say enough great things about Healthy Paws and always tell anyone I know who gets a pet to check your website. Thanks again !!!
