Fast and Easy!

It's super easy to submit your claim and documentation to Embrace. Within a day, my claim was reimbursed and the direct deposit sent to cover my costs. I didn't realize grooming costs are covered by Mango's wellness plan. After a brief phone call last month when my policy renew, I realized this was a great benefit.

Wellness Claim - Annual exam + shots

We have house cats age 2-12 yrs. This current claim was for Fudge (3yr old male cat). Wellness type claim for physical and shots. Cost $130. Remaining wellness amount $120. Reimbursed up to max allowed, as expected... No surprises. We have had this insurance for over 2 years. We learned about them via USAA insurance, and they have worked well. Insurance coverage per cat is deductible then 80% coverage, Rx included. Wellness baseline cost approx. $250 per cat covers annual exam, shots and monthly flea etc Rx. Wellness portion gets reimbursed. Insurance part is cost effective investment. Work with Embrace to get INITIAL preexisting conditions documented per cat during first 1-2 years. And realize annual plan costs increase as pets age increase. Bottom line - cost effective, and they work with you. And try to submit separate claims for wellness vs insurance. All submittals need itemized invoice, but no required doctor signoff for Wellness. I will continue to use them.

Great Service

I have had ASPCA insurance since my lab was 6 weeks old thankfully so she had double ACL surgery when she was about 3 years and she is 7 now. I have had many claims over the last several years ie... ear infections, upper respiratory infections I have always had great service and have been paid promptly. The process of the claims is fast and easy and online which is so convenient now. I would highly recommend ASPCA for your pet insurance needs another positive is they do have several different plans to meet your financial needs too.

Awesome Customer Service

Every single interaction I have had with ASPCA Pet Insurance had been convenient and fast. The turnaround for reimbursement is quick as well. They even called me to check on how my puppy was doing after she got sick. Getting through to a live person on the phone is easy and maneuvering the website is super easy as well.

Thank God for Healthy Paws Pet insurance

My husband and I got a bulldog puppy 18 months ago. I had heard stories about bulldog problems and one of my friends suggested pet insurance. She had a suggested one, but I did my own research and selected Healthy Paws. It was fortuitous because Bow developed many ailments peculiar to bulldogs. I selected Healthy Paws because I had read good reviews. It was also important that they treat breed specific ailments, something many pet insurance companies dont't do. I chose coverage that paid 70% of covered treatments. They do not cover general maintenance like shots, etc. Healthy Paws has exceeded my expectations. Submitting claims is easy using the Healthy Paws app on my phone. I simply take a picture of the vet"s invoice and send it to them. They pay very quickly. A check arrives within 7-10 days. On occasion they have asked for more information which I had the vet email them. Bow's treatments have been expensive and I don't know how we would have managed without this coverage. I would recommend anyone getting a puppy get Health Paws for at least a year. I recommend them without reservation. Nancy Watt

Trupanion is the best!

I have a brother and sister Yorkie. Both have diabetes and one has had cataracts in both eyes fixed. The others eyes are going also so fix schedule later this year.

TruPanion is wonderful!

My son left dark chocolate brownies on his bed when he got up to go to the bathroom. Our puppy was nowhere insight. My son returned from the bathroom to find puppy eating her 4th brownie! The emergency vet said she had to be seen because she is only 15 pounds and probably ate 4-5 ounces of chocolate. The vet did a wonderful job saving our puppy and Trupanion's team went above and beyond to process and approve the claim before treatment was administered so the vet would treat our puppy. The vet's billing practices were difficult to deal with, but thanks to TruPanion all is well! I am so, so, so thankful for TruPanion. They saved our puppy!

Great new plan options!

I was a previous customer of ASPCA when they were utilizing the "per incident" model. I was constantly frustrated, as reimbursements were based on U&C, which as anyone who has ever worked in the medical professional will tell you, is neither reasonable nor customary. I never knew what I could expect for reimbursement. But... THINGS HAVE CHANGED! When my dog passed away at the end of 2016, I was under the old design. When I adopted my two new dogs (a bulldog and a boerboel), I decided to consider ASPCA despite my difficult experiences in the past. I was elated to find out they had moved to a completely new model. For most plans, you are given a simple annual coverage amount, and all reimbursements are based on the BILLED amount, not U&C! Now, I can happily trust that I know exactly how much I will get reimbursed. This has increased my trust in the plan tremendously. Additionally, they shortened the waiting period for preexisting conditions, and the added simplicity of the plans means most of my claims have gotten paid in 48 hours or less! All this, and my rates are about the same as they were under the old system. Suffice it to say, I have gone from being a reluctant and skeptical customer to being a delighted one. Thank you ASPCA for listening to your clients and meeting their needs. I couldn't be happier.
