Healthy Paws is outstanding!!!

Maverick, our 10 month old yellow Labrador retriever, broke his tibia when jumping up to get a toy! Because it was a Sunday, we had to rush him to the emergency hospital where they stabilized his leg until our vet could operate the following day. A pin and three wires were inserted. Maverick then had to return to the hospital for another night of care. Healthy Paws handled our claim with the utmost speed and professionalism. They are WONDERFUL!!Even though we have always owned dogs, the is the first time we have purchased insurance. After careful research, we chose Healthy Paws, and are we glad we did!!! 😍 We tell everyone, including complete strangers, about the company and the care they exhibit!! We have received numerous e-mails inquiring about Maverick's surgery and recovery. Customer service is top notch!! I can't imagine anyone choosing another pet insurance when Healthy Paws is the best! There's a reason they are ranked number 1!!!! You never think a terrible accident could happen to such a young puppy, but it certainly can and does!! Be smart and get your pet insurance from Healthy Paws. You will never regret it!!

More than Pleased

I did extensive research before choosing Embrace. Time well spent. I had hoped to never have a need for a claim. But my playful young Rottie decided to totally shred the Cranial Cruciate Ligament in her right rear leg. So wonderful how easy and fast my claim was handled. Communication was stellar, the surgeon had not attached his invoice with the claim originally. It was easily and quickly rectified due to the speedy, great system and clear communication from Embrace. I have not had to worry about the credit card getting paid as the claim payments were received around the timing her stitches were removed.

Wonderful experience

My mini pinscher got in a fight with a much bigger dog and almost lost permanently. I called from the emergency vet and didn't have any of my info. Being in a bit of shock myself, I was relieved at how thoughtful, considerate and helpful Joey was when he answered my call and got me taken care of so I could focus more on my little one. Embrace is great service and insurance. I highly recommend.

Excellent Service

For the last several years, my Dog is insured with Pets Best. My experience with the insurance company is great! They are prompt and fair in handling the claims. My recent claim related to my dog ACL surgery has been handled promptly, informed me through out the review stages and finally reimbursed the amount according to the policy. I am a happy Pets Best customer! Thank you for a great service.

Poor service and lack of communication

Original claim for Bennett submitted Feb 22 2016. Feb 29, account shows records missing. Called and was told need doctors notes. Notes emailed Mar 2. As of Mar 22 this claim is still pending. Called Mar 9 when status not changed and told dr notes rec'd Mar 7 (emailed Mar 2) and claim being processed. Called a week later when status still not changed and told claim being processed. Called again Mar 22 and told missing diagnosis! Petfirst has my email address, phone number, and access to update my account online, and in no way was I informed more information was needed. This lack of communication is unacceptable. I have already paid the vet. I pay for 4 policies monthly, and have been a customer for probably 10 years. Your customer service reps are nice enough, but the service itself is unacceptable. I will be cancelling my policies and putting the money saved in an account of my own to pay vet bills. I will not be recommending Petfirst insurance.

A life saver!

I have 4 giant breed dogs and have had them covered for years. Recently, my dog, Bear had to have a biopsy which cost about $4,000. Embrace paid 90%. His condition is ongoing and he is feeling good and playful again. Without Embrace, I could not afford to treat his disease. During this, I had one minor claim that Embrace said they could not cover. I appealed and now this has been covered too. I can sleep nights knowing that $ won't have to be factored into my "pack's" health.

VERY HELPFUL AND EASY TO USE!

I submit the claim and a few weeks later I have a check in the mail. I also had a chance to review the progress on my claim right on my doggies portal. It is such an easy insurance program and I have been recommending it to all my friends!

Best Investment I Have Ever Made!!

This is the first time I have bought pet insurance and from the very beginning, every vet, neighbor and fellow pet owner had told me Embrace was the best! Well they were not kidding! My sweet little shih-Tzu apparently injured herself while I was at urgent care with walking pneumonia getting an IV. When I came home she had some how injured a disk in her back and she was crawling toward me with her back legs completely paralyzed. I rushed her to the vet emergency and after many tests including an MRI they were quite unsure if she would stand or walk again. She is my constant companion and such a joyful soul in the world. Being so terribly ill myself made the whole situation even worse and the cost was extensive to say the least!!!! Far more then the $1000 dollar limit they have listed as the top option for this review. The last thing I needed to worry about was the money. I am so incredibly blessed to report that she has regained movement in both her back legs after weeks of being on a steroid and while she will most likely walk with a limp going forward, she can stand and walk on her own!!! I have never been so grateful for anything and we have both slowly recovered together. Her vet was a bit slow on submitting my claim but once Embrace had it, they contacted me immediately and told me it would be covered, inquired how she was doing and that the check was on the way. It was an enormous relief with everything else I was dealing with not to have to be worrying about it or having to follow up with them!!! Even prior to this incident I have referred at least a dozen people to Embrace and have always been impressed with their service but truly in todays world to have a company fully honor their commitment without hesitation or delay and actually care about the situation, well I will be loyal to Embrace for her lifetime and for that matter for all future pets I may be blessed to share my life with. I cannot say enough about this company!

Thank you so much for great support!

We are happy clients of HealthyPaws for less than a year. Our corgi mix dog has had some difficult times during this period: allergy, skin infection and finally unexpected surgery. All needed exams and operations were fully covered as well as all the medications. After the X-ray doctor though our pup has eaten a bone or a plastic toy but during the surgery it turned out that the dog had had narrowed intestines' segment that had to be deleted. 4 days later Yuki had the second surgery. All this time we could hardly sleep or think about anything but our poor doggy. HealthyPaws has not only paid all the bills but also called me to know how Yuki was doing, following with couple of _personally written_ e-mails. That was so touching! I recommend all my pet parent friends to have HealthyPaws insurance and most of them already have it. Thank you so much for our happy and healthy dog!
