Great customer service and prompt payment of claims.
This is the first experience I had had having insurance for pets. I am so grateful I elected to have it through my employer. Without it would have created a fina cial strain and even resulted in me electing to not get proper care for my dog. Nationwide has been excellent both in thier customer service and prompt payment of claims. The ability to submit claims electronicaly with payments made directly to my personal account, resulted in quick reimbursement to my upfront payments. As long as I have pets, I will maintain xocerage for them under Nationwide.

Great pet insurance for unexpected illness
I was often worried that I was wasting money on pet insurance, but Trupanion changed my mind! They were recommended by my veterinarian friend, and I couldn’t be more pleased. My 6 year old Maltese needed knee surgery amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, which couldn’t have happened at a worse time financially. They covered my pets surgery and sent a check within two weeks! Thank you Trupanion.

Good to have in an emergency
Needing expensive anti-venom treatment for our dog after a snake bite was an easy decision knowing the insurance was there to assist afterwards

Insurance that does not cover claims
This is another insurance firm that takes your money and does not cover a claims. Beware of firms like this. After not covering several claims I decided not to continue to pay for this insurance. When I cancelled my policy it took them serval months to return the call and another month to receive my payment back. Find another firm!

Easy process
I can't say enough about how easy Nationwide's claim process is. The website is user friendly, straight forward to upload documents (receipts etc) and lets you know exactly where you are in the process. The explanation of benefits makes everything so easy. Very happy customer so far.

Amazing coverage and easy claim process
Nationwide has been there for my babygirl Shane from the smallest vet costs to radiation treatment for cancer. My pet was diagnosed with nasal carcinoma recently and Nationwide gave me and opportunity to make the decision I wanted to extend Shanes life with radiation therapy rather then the worst option. All because Nationwide provided me with 90% reimbursement after my $250 deductible AND the claim process is amazingly fast and easy. They've allowed me to give more attention to my loving pet Shane and minimal attention on the costs of things. We feel blessed to have such a company there for us when we need them. I will continue to HIGHLY recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to every pet parent i know.
