Very pleased so far

I signed my 2 cats up with Embrace 4 years ago and haven't needed to file any claims until now. So far, I am very happy with the whole process and VERY happy I decided to go with Embrace for insurance. The initial claim was handled within 10 days (getting records from my vet, checking his medical records, etc.). Once that was approved, pre-certification for treatment of his lymphoma was ok'd in less than 24 hours. Also nice was the healthy pet credit that lowered Cooter's deductable - I didn't even realize that was part or the plan, so with all of the stress of a cancer diagnosis, that was a very pleasant surprise. Thank you Embrace for making this whole situation less stressful and allowing us to focus on taking care of our cat rather than worrying about money.

Embrace is a Miracle

I will tell you upfront that I am suspicious of ALL insurance. Experience has taught me this. So when I split with my wife and my cat Tom - my best friend - started to spend loooong amounts of time alone while I was at work I became slightly concerned - especially when he began to have medical problems.They were nothing serious at first but they seemed to portend trouble ahead. After a visit to my local vet one of the techs there suggested Embrace to me. You know, just in case. I was hesitant but that particular visit had been pricey so I called Embrace on a fact-finding mission and immediately liked them - small company, very personalized service. I did coverage and a wellness plan and then hoped I'd never need them. That disappeared quickly as Tom suffered one thing after another over the next three months, having a hospitalization for IV treatment as he developed Pancreatitis, a form of Hep and Fatty Liver disease. Our time became a ouroboros - I had to work increasingly long hours to pay for his treatments and this left Tom susceptible to a degree of loneliness that, in the end, just perpetuated his problems. During this time Embrace was amazing. Honestly I didn't have the chance to pay into the account for Tom what they reimbursed me with their payouts, and those payouts literally saved my life. The initial costs for Tom's treatment were crippling me and seriously in danger of affecting me making my rent. Embrace gave me the chance to give Tom a chance. Unfortunately it ended up being Tom's time to go and he passed away last week. I called to cancel the policy the next day and two days later I received a sympathy card in the mail - personalized by every staff member I had spoken to at Embrace. It made me cry in the best possible ways. After this experience I can honestly say that Embrace is the best thing I did for Tom -and myself.

Dental Extractions for My Dog

I believe i have one of your top policies. I pay over $400 a month for my two dogs. One of them had to have 9 dental extractions as well as a general dental cleaning. I paid the veterinarian over $900 for this procedure. My claim paid me $100. I do not understand why dental extractions were not covered for a larger amount.I am very angry about the results of the claim process. I have had my policy for my two dogs with you for over 8 years and have always been satisfied until now.I have referred other pet owners to you and have told my veterinarian I thought you company was great. Now I am rethinking all of that.

Great Insurance and Customer Service

We have processed several claims this year and each one has been promptly processed (within 1 week), with reimbursement checks to follow. Their customer service is the best and everything is clearly spelled out in their policy - I know what's covered and what isn't.

Difficult

I have had pet insurance with other companies. For my current dogs I tried Embrace when I first got these dogs as puppies. The rates are about what I paid with other companies, but the patient portal is maddening. There does not seem to be an option to opt out of it. Of course I don't access it daily, so I don't remember my user name and password. It would be easier if my claim details would be an attachment in an e-mail.

Pets Best is one of the best decisions I have made

This is a duplicate review. The first review may not have made it through because of a computer error. I enrolled my dog Daisy in the Pets Best program to be able to think only about what is best for Daisy in the event of a health crisis. Such a crisis has occurred and Pets Best has lived up to its commitment 100 percent, taking the weight of financial concerns entirely off my shoulders. I will always be grateful to Pets Best for its commitment to me and Daisy.

Pets Best is one of the best decisions I have made

My reason for enrolling my dog Daisy in the Pets Best plan was to remove concerns about money from my thinking when it comes to her care, and simply do what is best for her. And that is what Pets Best has enabled me to do. Pets Best has taken an enormous weight off of me in a current health crisis. They have lived up to their commitment 100 percent, and this has made it possible for me to devote myself entirely Daisy's well being in this current health crisis. She is still under treatment and Pets Best remains in our corner. I am and always will be very grateful to Pets Best for helping both of us.

Peace of Mind

We purchased insurance on our rescue dog (Sassafras) when she was a puppy. At 3 years old she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Embrace has paid all of our claims for her epilepsy ER visits, and prescription medication which we are extremely satisfied with. My only wish is that all natural epilepsy drops and magnesium which we use to help control her seizures would be included as part of treatment rather then wellness. Besides that we are extremely happy with Embrace and recommend them highly.
