Super sweet staff!
The person answering the calls can't help when their is a glitch in the system. Since February there has been a problem with billing, but the staff has been super sweet! I wouldn't want to own a pet without this insurance!

Payment options
I called because my claims were being reimbursed by cheque after I had called to add a bank account # for direct deposit. Unfortunately I was too late giving my banking info and the cheque had already been issued.

Premiums
I have recommended trupanion for years but I will be soon be unable to pay the escalating fees - it costs more than mine and this distresses me a great deal to find a way to afford such a high monthly fee.

Service rep
I have never had an issue with a call taker but this person did not know her subject matter and was contradicting what she had said when I asked questions about her statement. If this was my first time, it would have been my last time. She was inept.

Trupanion was there for us
My furbaby was rushed to an emergency animal hospital due to a "bad heart." In all of the emotional turmoil and concern, Trupanion was there to help us through. We received an estimate of ~$7,600 and we weren't sure if we could afford his treatment. Luckily, Trupanion provided us with a pre-approval and took the financial burden off of us so we could concentrate on the wellbeing of our Golden.
