Cost duplicated in 5yrs
I insured my pet under the understanding that they wont increase the cost given my dog age, coincedentally, as my dog gets older the premium has almost duplicated. Luckily in 5 years i never had to submit a claim so i cannot say wheter they do pay or no. For reference, this is what i paid for a mixed rottweiler since we got her at 2yrs old 2021-$109 2022-$110 2023-$124 (13% increase y/y) 2024-$157 (27% increase y/y) 2025-$188 (20% increas y/y) 2026-$220 (17% increas y/y) From 2021 to 2026 the insurance increased duplicdated (101%)

It absolutely no problem filing a claim for my pets wellness visit. I also carry emergency for my pet as well. I think the price is is reasonable I think the reimbursement is reasonable as well. Everything is super simple. I’m able to submit stuff through my phone to make it easier. Everything is told to you upfront. My pet insurance isn’t accepted through the vet so I have to submit the claim after I pay, which was stated ahead of time and I had no problem getting reimbursed super simple great experience..

Pumpkin Insurance Highly Recommended for our furry friends
As a proud dog mom to a miniature schnauzer named Paco, I take his health and wellbeing very seriously. When Paco was about 12 months old, I decided to purchase pet insurance, and I chose Pumpkin because of the flexibility and coverage they offer. One of the main reasons I selected Pumpkin is that the insurance is recognized statewide, which is very helpful for people who may relocate and don’t want the hassle of changing providers. They also offer multiple plan options beyond the standard package, including preventative care. I opted for the preventative care plan along with the 90% reimbursement option, which has worked very well for us. Pumpkin’s pricing is incredibly reasonable, and the claims reimbursement process is very timely. I have found the turnaround time for refunds to be quite fast, and their claims department has been efficient. Customer service has also been excellent. Anytime I have had questions or concerns, the representatives have been knowledgeable and helpful. If I’m unsure whether a cost will be covered, Pumpkin offers a review process where they can estimate what portion of the claim would likely be reimbursed. I typically receive responses within 24 hours. Overall, my experience has been very positive.
