Great experience

Megan was great to work with. Knew her stuff, answered my questions and super nice. Also, their pricing is much better than other companies.

Unethical Company Raising Premiums

Price hikes each year to the point where it's not worth it. I havent used the insurance/filed a claim in 3 years and they continue to raise my premium each year. Go with any other pet insurance. They are unethical and predatory.

This year they are more than doubling…

This year they are more than doubling my insurance premiums!! For no apparent reasons but "the vet bills increase in the US these days" and “your cat is getting 1 year older” . I don’t think it’s a good reason to double an insurance premium . AND they had already increased it the past year. What is it gonna be next year? triple? Also they don’t cover prescription food- Only prescription medication- Beware!

What is advertised is not what you get

It wasn’t clear when I started paying into the insurance plan that they do not cover emergency exams, or taxes. So instead of paying the $600+ that I expected, they only paid out $270. Their policy makes no sense and does not cover the things that are needed. I am truly disappointed.

Most things that I needed were not covered. So by the time I paid the premium and the cost of the service I basically broke even which saved me $0 hence rendering the insurance useless.

DO NOT PURCHASE

If I could give Embrace a 0 I would! Genuinely don't even bother getting pet insurance at all. After submitting almost $1,000 of vet bills, Embrace reimbursed $0 of it. Mind you, this was after months and months of trying to get them to even review the claims. They claimed that our cat had a preexisting condition (a fully healed Upper Respiratory Infection she had while she was in the shelter) even though the vet literally stated in the first appointment that this was NOT the issue, and even after spending hours on the phone with them, Embrace only conceded to reimburse us $98, which is well under what we are owed. We are cancelling our plan immediately and are beyond disappointed in not only the pet insurance itself but the staff who seem entirely unempathetic and unable to use a single ounce of logic in assessing claims. Update: See their stupid response to this? Did they even read the review? This type of response is exactly the issue with Embrace. In my review, I clearly stated that my cat did NOT HAVE A PREEXISTING CONDITION not even in the terms you defined it in the policy contract. Also, absolutely hilarious to say you "see a team member has provided additional information" in reference to an automated email response confirming the cancellation of my insurance plan. Don't act like you did your best attempt to right this situation; all you guys want is to take our money, you really could not care less about the health and wellbeing of the animals involved.

If you truly love your pets

If you truly love your pets, pet insurance is a must-have. My beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever went in for a routine tooth check, and thankfully, my excellent vet detected a minor heart murmur during the exam. I immediately took action, found a veterinary cardiologist, and got her heart thoroughly evaluated to determine the next steps. The combined cost for the two vet visits plus the specialist consultation came to nearly $1,000. Thanks to our Spot pet insurance, our out-of-pocket expense was only about $175. At 6 years old, my ECR is just as precious to our family as our children. If you want peace of mind, the ability to provide the best care without financial stress, and to keep your beloved companions healthy and by your side for as long as possible—pet insurance (like Spot) is one of the smartest investments you can make for them. It's worth every penny.

Fetch Pet Ins - Positive Experience

I am writing to share my positive experience with Fetch Pet Insurance. I appreciate how easy it has been to manage my policy changes and how responsive the team is whenever I have questions. While we fortunately haven't needed to use our policy for accidents or illnesses yet, we have found the wellness plans for both of our pets to be very valuable. Additionally, the Fetch pharmacy service has been incredibly helpful; having flea, tick, and heartworm medications shipped directly to my door—with the option to add supplements—is a great convenience. I am very impressed with the comprehensive range of options Fetch provides, from medical coverage and pharmacy services to the new Fetch perks for food and supplies. Thank you Fabrice for all your help! Stormy the DSH Cat & Stella the Hound Mix
