A total scam—Do not waste your money on Healthy Paws I’ve been paying over $500 a month for three dogs for more than a year and have zero to show for it. We filed our first claim for a puppy with no past medical records, and Healthy Paws has dragged this out for months with nothing but excuses and dead ends. They’re demanding “medical records” for a puppy who has none—utterly ridiculous and completely irrelevant. Every time I call, I get staff who are painfully ignorant of basics and unable to escalate. They lie about supervisors being available, keep me on hold for 40 minutes, and then vanish into a circle of meaningless promises. It’s a grand show of incompetence and avoidable delays. Finally, they closed the claim and denied it for “lack of medical records,” which is ludicrous for a puppy with no history. I canceled the plan out of sheer frustration and anger at the incompetence and the money wasted on nothing but bureaucratic roadblocks. Bottom line: this company is a scam disguised as pet insurance. Poor communication, zero accountability, and a system designed to stall. Do not under any circumstances sign up with Healthy Paws.

Lucky Us to be part of the Trupanion family...

I've been paying for Trupanion for about 7 years and when I go to the vet, I upload everything. However, I haven't had anything yet get to the point I needed to file a claim. Then two months ago my boy tore his ACL. Trupanion took care of most of the bill and they made it super easy! I'm very glad to have you in my corner. It's been a tough start to the year and you have no idea how great it was for your help paying that surgery bill. Thank you so much!

I am very happy with MetLife Pet Insurance

I have been using MetLife Pet Insurance for 5 years now. I have never had an issue with them. Their customer service is caring and thorough. Plus, recently I have compared plans with other pet insurance companies out of curiosity. MetLife Pet Insurance policies are very inclusive. They don't require upgrades to their policies to cover basic stuff like annual wellness visits, etc. I am very happy with MetLife.

Never say you'll never need it! Our dog got sick unexpectedly, week after week, and the expenses started piling up. I had been paying for the insurance for almost 2 years without needing it and now I get to enjoy the benefits. It's such a peace to know SPOT has had our back and that the financial burden is lifted.

Some of the worst customer service I've…

Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. In an emergency situation I was told by the online chat agent that I needed to speak with a supervisor over the phone and that I would get a call from them in, at most, 48 hours, which was already frustrating, but that I was listed as priority since it was an emergency so it would probably only be 4 or 5 hours. It actually took them 8 days. 8 working days. Completely useless. They were rude, dismissive, and actually found some pretty creative ways to make everything worse, such as cancelling my refund cheque (which took 6 weeks to arrive) the day before it arrived, just to then issue another one (which took another 6 weeks to arrive). If you want a company that actually cares about pets or humans, this is not it.
