I called the toll-free number and a representative answered all my questions was very thorough and what was the best price I found so I signed up my two dogs
When I called the customer service rep, she was able to answer all my questions and offered me a great rate compared to the other pet insurance companies so I signed up both of my dogs.

Quotes Keep Changing!
Every time I did a quote for my 1 yr old mixed breed male dog, I got a different quote. I requested 90%, $250 deductible, unlimited annual & I wanted exam fees as an 'add-on'. 1st quote was $45.13 + $8.25 2nd quote was $38.72 + $7.?? Before I submitted the credit card for payment, Prudent Pet's system summarized what I was requesting: 90%, $250, unlimited, start date for accident, illnesses, knee & ligament. However, it didn't indicate that exams were included even though I suspected as much because of the price. It wasn't until I actually processed the payment that it showed that exams were covered. The price was good, customer service reviews were good & coverage was good.

My pet ACL repair surgery
Overall experience with Fetch pet insurance, was pretty easy. Representatives walked me through what was going to take place, and explained the amount of money that was going to be refunded back to me to cover my dog’s surgery.

This was easy to understand and set upYou never know!
This was easy to understand and set up. You never know when it could be needed. My co-worker didn't have it and just told me what it cost to get her dog surgery. Yikes! MetLife is the way to go.

Flawless First Claim Experience
We took our puppies to the veterinary hospital for their 12 week check up, then we filed a claim for the expenses that were covered with our pet insurance plan, The claim filing process was easily completed and the Reims was received quickly. A great experience!!

Very happy with Spot Pet Insurance
We've been very happy with Spot Pet Insurance. They have many coverage options at competitive prices. If you need to submit a claim, it's an easy process. If you need customer service, they are very helpful.

Do NOT use this company!
I’ve purchased pet insurance for the past 5 years for 3 different dogs… I’ve had polices with Spot, Pets Best, Embrace, and Fetch, and Embrace has THE most predatory contract language I’ve EVER seen! It’s extremely vague so it can be interpreted to benefit the company… which in itself is normal practice for insurance companies to protect against fraud… however, Embrace routinely EXPLOITS that vague jargon to deny LEGITIMATE claims, which is something only predatory companies do! Seriously READ through their BBB complaints before you even think about buying a policy through them! Embrace will use ANY excuse possible to deny claims as preexisting or congenital/hereditary, even against the word of the EXAMINING and/or treating veterinarians… if your pet has ANY vague symptom documented (ie a one time incident of vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose, inflamed skin, etc) in their past medical records Embrace adjusters WILL link those past symptoms to their current condition somehow, even if your vet outright states they’re not related… mark my words! I purchased a one year policy from Embrace for one of our puppies and paid for the entire year up front… luckily I saw how horrible they are first hand (we only submitted 2 total claims, both to only count against the annual deductible w no reimbursement requests and it took over 2 months to process, getting one denial and one partial reimbursement and I RAN) and switched to a better company as soon as renewal time came! I consider myself lucky they showed me who they were before any harm was done… our puppy was < 1 year old when we got that policy and we ended up getting another puppy a year later and thankfully knew to stay far away from Embrace. However, a couple months ago our (young adult) daughter purchased a policy through embrace for a senior shelter dog she adopted, and as soon as she told me where she got it I made her cancel immediately and purchase a Pets Best policy instead! It’s lucky she did, because months later they finally completed the “medical review” she requested upon purchase (guess they didn’t realize she had canceled the policy), and that language was even MORE predatory than their general contract language if you can believe it! The way Embrace’s medical review was worded would’ve made it possible to deny ANY claim they wanted to! Seriously, she might as well have purchased an accident only policy at that point because her “illness” policy was absolute GARBAGE… she thanked us profusely after seeing that and said she’d tell all her friends to stay away from embrace too. Also… as for their alleged high payout rate, don’t forget they include PARTIAL reimbursements! It’s yet another shady practice of theirs. But if you submit a claim for a $5,000 ER visit and they pay the $80 examination fee and deny the rest, I really don’t think the fact they covered that one small fee will be much comfort now will it? Ask what their FULL reimbursement % is, I guarantee it’s probably a FRACTION of their partial payout rate. STAY AWAY from this predatory company!! Because if you still choose them after reading our reviews (and rumor has it they have embrace employees write good reviews too btw, read BBB complaints/reviews) and get ripped off then it’s on you. Embrace is as shady as insurance gets! Go with Pets Best, Spot, or Fetch…I’ve had all three and they’re ALL way more trustworthy!! Spot’s the best as far as customer satisfaction, but they’re also one of the most expensive… Pets Best is the best compromise between affordability and customer satisfaction, imo.

Trupanion pet insurance is a lifesaver!!
Trupanion pet insurance is just amazing! We got it for our Dachshund 3 years ago and we are so glad we did. We didn’t need until just recently when he needed back surgery for IVDD. Trupanion paid a majority of the bill and we only had to come out of pocket a small amount. We are so thankful for Trupanion! We highly suggest you get Trupanion for your pet!
