My cat broke his hip and required surgery. I was worried the insurance process might be complicated or difficult. However Spot processed my reimbursement in a week. I just did a simple online form with my receipts. Spot requested the records. My reimbursement was direct deposited all in about a week. I was pleasantly surprised!

I want to sincerely thank Embrace for making a very stressful time much more manageable. My dog became extremely ill and had to be hospitalized, and the last thing I needed was a complicated claims process. Thankfully, submitting my claim was quick and easy. Every time I contacted customer service, they were polite, helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Having Trupanion, using it real-time at the vet’s office, and not having to do the submission myself, having the reimbursement determined at the time, is such a relief and rewarding. Worth every penny!

Do not get Healthy Paws - They change your deductible and Copay after years of paying a premium
Do not get Healthy Paws. It felt like a bait and switched when my dog was going to turn 12. All these years I paid a premium to have a 10 percent copay with a 250 deductible. Every year they raise their rates a lot. But I was shocked when my renewal policy just came up and they said my new deductible was $500 and I have a 30 percent copay and they raised the rates. No other options. Very infuriating and I would NEVER recommend them as a result. Up until now they paid claims very fast and I rarely had issues other then the really raising rates a lot each year. I started at $33 a month and am now at $139 a months for a 30 pound dog.
