Coverage is good but there is alot of room for improvement
I have liked the coverage and customer service when ive called in however the time from claim submittal to being reimbursed is fairly long, the system used to pre-sort the uploaded documents is flawed and causes issue, ive had entire claims completely lost after receiving confirmation of submitting, and with a 65% increase in my premiums after the first year of working with yall it feels a bit like bait and switch pricing wise

Better than human insurance
They paid every covered claim without blinking an eye, including a very costly tumor removal surgery in March, and then barely raised premiums for the next year. It literally brought me to tears to think how they made what has otherwise been an incredibly difficult time just a little bit easier for us.

Honored high claim without question
I have never had a problem with Healthy Paws. The app is easy to use. Claims are reviewed and processed quickly. Customer service is helpful. It couldn't be easier. My fur baby passed recently. The emergency vet bill was over $20k. I was nervous that Healthy Paws would find some reason not to honor the claim like most human insurance companies. I was wrong. They honored the claim and reimbursed me 80% no questions asked. I absolutely recommend this company for solid coverage and ease of use.

I like how easy it is to submit a claim, as well as speed of payment. I don't like that my premium went up 20% in one year. I'm looking for a new insurance provider.

Amazing experience at Fetch
I am so happy that I decided to call and even happier that it was Nadine that I got to speak with. I just recently got three beautiful maine coon kittens and have another on the way and I was doing research on Canadian Pet Insurance. I had actually narrowed my seach down to Fetch and another popular insurer, based on online information provided. I actually called both companies to figure out what was right for me. The first company was good but in the end, not at all affordable for me, especially when insuring four cats. I needed to up the deductible so high on each condition to get an affordable price, that it started to make more sense to just bank that amount money instead. But then I spoke to Nadine at Fetch and knew I would like her immediately. Together we were able to create a plan that was in my price range, served a much lower deductible and provided 80% coverage on all the things that mattered to be. And in all, it was only half the cost of the other company. I signed up on the spot! As mentioned, Nadine was excellent at her job. She could easily answer all my many questions and even went further and answered the things I didn't ask, but she thought I should know. Nadine has absolutely mastered the art of being both professional AND personable, truly a pleasure to deal with.

Amount of monthly cost
Pets Best Insurance is a pretty good company. They reimburse what they say they will and are finally reimbursing in a short time. I do have a couple complaints. I wish they could reimburse the claim before the bill is paid in full due to the fact that sometimes the bill is quite large and takes some time to pay it. Also, the monthly amount I pay for the insurance has gone up $20 a month in the past 2 years without warning. I think that is quite excessive and I did not change insurance companies because of pre-existing not covered so you are stuck with the same company. As stated previously, they do reimburse on time and what they say they will.
Expensive but good
Expensive. But claims are quick and easy. Customer service is also very responsive.

I was impressed then I wasn’t
I was impressed with them but after just 1 year their rates went up! Not just a little either. I now pay $60 more a month. They blamed it on the vet raising their prices but I ask my vet and they said their prices have remained the same. My older dog had to have some dental surgery and it was a tad pricey and to me they are like any insurance company that as soon as you file a claim on them, they will raise your policy and that’s what they did then they’ll lie to you and tell you this is why they did it. Trust me I was P.O. Stated that they sent an email out saying that the prices were going out, but I never got anything. I went back through all my emails. I got nothing.. they raised one of my animals so for a total of 60 more dollars a month which they think people are rich I guess and they don’t really care if you leave them or not I’m telling you right now just now after a year, your insurance prices will go up regardless.
