Mostly satisfied and I do recommend.
I have been using Metlife for my 2 dogs for about 2 years. I am generally satisfied with their coverage. One of the problems that I have had is their computer generated emails that my claim has been denied. I end up having to call and have them re-process the claim. This has happened on several occasions and has been my biggest gripe. Use real customer service, NOT the computer. So much is lost in the way of this, and it is so time consuming and aggravating being denied, when I know what claims are covered. Besides that, I would recommend them and it gives me peace of mind to know that most of my claims are reimbursed.

Horrible company to deal with
Horrible company to deal with. They don't pay out anything - they always find some reason to not pay. Total wasted of money. This company should be shut down as they are a total scam!!!!!!!!!

SCAM. Beware.
What a complete scam. I’ve had my Westie covered under the premium policy since he was a puppy. He’s had no health issues. Other than regular vaccinations, checkups and medication for fleas, ticks and heartworm he is very healthy. My last Vet bill was almost $500 and after submitting my invoices, I was informed they cover nothing. All the tv advertisements and commercials state everything I had my dog in for would be covered to some extent. Wrong! Please if you’re considering Fetch, do your research.

The website is easy to use
The website is easy to use. Claims are processed very quickly and most importantly, a real human answers the phone without much waiting. I would have given a 5 if Healthy Paws had a mechanism by which one could get pre-approved for a procedure or test. FYI-Price increases are often. I started 12 years ago at $35/month and now pay $140/month. Total increase: 300% Annualized increase: ~12.25% per year Average dollar increase: ~$8.75/year

Too many restrictions, not transparent about deductible
The company did not disclose the deductible in the initial plan information and automatically renewed my pet without my consent. They also disallowed a condition that was under review but had not been finally confirmed (as pre-existing) and didn't cover enough vaccines and wellness services.

I joined Spot insurance last year
I joined Spot insurance last year. prior to that I had one which was costing me so much and the rate went up each year that my dog got older . I did some research and decided to get the accident insurance with gold benefits so it would help pay for some of the routine vaccinations and checkups . They were quick to reimburse me (within about 3 days). I recommend this type of your dog is basically healthy but you just want something for “just in case” of an accident. it gives me peace of mind.
