Spot is a great choice all the way around!
Spot has been a great insurance for our dog Hux, a Britany. This is the first time we have gotten pet insurance for our pets, but being a veterinarian for over 25 yrs, I’ve dealt with just about every pet insurance out there and I can tell you, none are as easy as spot. The app is great, easy to submit things, they are clear in providing a detailed explanation of what was covered and how much. They are quick to reimburse and customer service is friendly and responsive. Great job Spot!

I signed up for Trupanion just this month, and it has reduced my $1,500 bill to $500 at a minimum. I feel so much better knowing my cavalier can be seen when she needs to, rather than worrying that every time I take her to the vet could cost thousands. I was also surprised by how quickly they answered the phone, whether I called at 1 AM or 3 PM. I think the rate I am paying per month is more than fair. Maybe she won't need the coverage in the future but it's just a peace of mind thing that I am really liking having so far.

It’s very easy to file a claim. It’s very easy to do most things. My concern is as I file claims. How is this going to affect her premiums? Are they going to go through the roof? Because that’s insurance and that’s why it’s a scam you pay heavily into it and never use it but the second you use it they jack up your rates. Let’s see if that happens with MetLife.

Everything was great until my 2 cats got older. As soon as one of my cats turned 15 they increased the premium by $100 on him. So beware! the premium starts off low then they will drastically increase it! It's like a scam! My cat is a healthy cat with no issues whatsoever, and we've just been giving them money for 15 years with barely any usage. Now I'm paying $250/month, which is insane for a cat health insurance.

My cat broke his hip and required surgery. I was worried the insurance process might be complicated or difficult. However Spot processed my reimbursement in a week. I just did a simple online form with my receipts. Spot requested the records. My reimbursement was direct deposited all in about a week. I was pleasantly surprised!
