Ripped me off
Ripped me off. I only had my policy a couple days and then they abruptly canceled it and kept my money. I tried to get in touch with them and they are not answering.

Very Satisfied, No complaints!
I always get through to representatives and everyone always been respectable and helpful. First I was nervous switching over from ASPCA to MetLife because there was controversy about giving explanations before things are covered and to be honest with you ASPCA would just review the invoice on their own and just pay it out based on category of the invoice and I thought I was going to have a lot of issues cuz I do have an existing dog however due to a certain qualifications of my policy so far unfortunately even though I had to submit quite a few claims MetLife has been timely and paid me back everything I was owed to the cent based on the coverage I chosen and I am very pleased. I am very glad I switched over and they definitely seem to be a lot more flexible and affordable.

Great Coverage!
I filed my first claim and was reimbursed quicker than I thought I would. I was so glad I chose the preventative coverage. I received most of my money back. Great plan!

Filling out the application was easy and straight forward. I'm happy I was able to add another pet as well. I was hoping for a discount when you have more than one pet.

Off to a bad start with MetLife Pet insurance.
Off to a bad start with your insurance. I have had other pet insurance for the last 20 years with other companies, and never have had the problems that I have encountered with MetLife. Every claim has been a series of vague emails regarding more information to process the claim. Sometimes the claims have been duplicated ( not due to me ). MetLife has requested information from my vet that they had already sent before. This has happened twice now. You need to be more clear on exactly what documentation you need, and quit inconveniencing veterinary hospitals and your clients with multiple unclear emails with no follow up that the correct information had been received. That being said, my claims have been covered eventually, but not without me having to contact customer service on most of them.

Good but expensive
I am 82 years old and my dog is almost 13. Insurance has gone up to over 130 a month now so i dont know how long I can keep it. Real reasonable to start but I do pay more for insurance than the vet cost over few months. Older dogs dont get back but70% and have to pay first 400 .
