Best pet insurance!

Overall pumpkin is the best! I've never had issues when it comes to submitting claims & receiving payment after reaching my pets' deductibles. Monthly payments for each pet I think is reasonable. Customer service is always helpful and willing to tackle the issues I have! I always recommend to my other dog parents to use pumpkin :)

Very disappointed with my experience…

Very disappointed with my experience with Sonnet Insurance. I received a quote for $275/month, paid the first and last payments, and my policy started normally. Then only 4 days later, without any clear notice or proper explanation, my monthly payment was increased to $380. Changing a customer’s premium after the policy has already started — especially without transparent communication — feels extremely unfair and misleading. If the original quote was inaccurate, it should have been verified before taking payment and activating the policy. This experience caused unnecessary stress and completely damaged my trust in the company. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering Sonnet will change the initial quote and their price is not trusted. Go ahead with other big and reputable insurance companies.

Do Not Choose If Your Dog Needs Chiropractic Care

I have no complaints for them covering accidents other than the rate increases every year (a lot), 20%) and the fact that they don't cover chiropractic care unless it's done by a licensed veterinarian or under the supervision of a vet. You will NEVER find a vet who does chiropractics nor will a vet stand there while a chiropractor does their manipulation. And there are other therapeutics they won't cover unless it's done by a vet. Vets do acupuncture, but none of the other things such as trigger point therapy. So beware. I was told by Hartville when I was switched from another insurance company that they cover chiropractic care, but they never said it had to be done by a licensed veterinarian.

Super fast claim processing

Super fast claim processing, no hassles or issues at all! I love that I don't have to worry in times if emergency, I can say yes to all the best options for my 4 legged babe and I don't have to worry that I can't afford it.

Pets best has rejected claim after…

Pets best has rejected claim after claim. They constantly raise their prices without paying out on covered claims. Absolutely the worst pet insurance out there. I strongly suggest staying far away from this company! Their website was down for months at a time, so even trying to submit a claim was frustrating. But it really didn't matter because they didn't pay out on most of their covered claims anyway. Even when they did pay it was next to nothing. I stayed with them way too long before I finally canceled. Again stay away, not an honest company!

We have been extremely disappointed…

We have been extremely disappointed with our experience with Trupanion. Over the past three years, our premiums have increased by 100% — despite the fact that we have never submitted a single claim and our two dogs have no pre-existing conditions. We understood that some increases over time are expected, especially with rising veterinary costs, but the size and frequency of these increases feel excessive and difficult to justify for loyal customers who have not used the insurance. One of the most frustrating parts is feeling trapped. Especially since their pattern is to keep increasing the premium each year. At this point, it feels less like affordable protection and more like an unsustainable financial commitment. We chose Trupanion for peace of mind, but the ongoing premium increases have seriously damaged our trust in the company. I would strongly encourage prospective customers to carefully consider the long-term affordability of this coverage before enrolling. We have decided to just put the money we were paying in premiums into a savings account for our dogs. Based on what Trupanion was charging us this would equate to $21,600 in five years.

I enrolled my dog in embrace when she was 1 year old. Premium was high but after considering it for awhile I signed up for $58.06 /mo. Two years and no submitted claims it is increased to $69.05. When I spoke to customer service they said rates are adjusted every year! What would the cost be when my dog gets older? Certainly unaffordable. No mention of yearly adjustment when I enrolled or I never would’ve. So I just wasted $1300 thinking I secured premiums on well dog that would remain during the life of my dog. Sorry embrace it is not for me
