Very simple with easy to follow instructions. The sign up process did not take long at all and the questions were easy to understand and find the answers to. The policy descriptions were clear and informative making it easy for me to decide what policy would be right for me!

Amazing Experience
My dog cut her paw badly outside and we don’t know what she cut it on. We have 4 weeks of treatment and hospital stays. Our vet is amazing and Healthy paws made it less stressful knowing we had help to pay for her vet bills. Submitting claims was extremely easy, review of claim and payment was quick. 100% recommend Healthy Paws for pet insurance.

Our claim was handled quickly when our Shih Tzu suddenly became acutely ill, Our dog was take to an emergency animal hospital and was hospitalized for several days. We were grateful to have Healrhy Paws Insurance during this time of great need.

Not happy with PetsBest
I chose PetsBest based on other reviews I read & Reddit threads saying they processed things quickly and were a good company. I am not happy so far--my first issue is technology. I had to reset my password, and when I clicked the reset link in my email, I got some message that the token was already used (it wasn't). There was absolutely no way to reset my password at that point, meaning I had to get in touch with the company. There is no way to email them, and the chat on their website said nobody was available/I had to call. When I called, I was on hold for an ungodly amount of time and never even reached a person. Eventually, I found my password and finally logged in- but what would have happened if I never found it??? Second, in regards to claims, they take SO LONG to process. Reviews & threads said that they were fast, but that was obviously not true. I get emails apologizing for the delay and it just takes far too long to get things processed. I am not really happy with my experience so far and am grateful I only paid quarterly and that my dog is still young enough so I can switch companies. I do not recommend Pets Best.

First time I ever had Kitty Health insurance!
First time I ever had kitty insurance, and would recommend HIGHLY! Used my policy once in 9 years, then kitty had a a major emergency. Do your homework, I did. Compare coverage, limits/caps, deductibles, etc. Healthy Paws covered an unexpected medical crisis and allowed me to get the best care and a treatment plan that I could afford. Reimbursement was prompt, and easier to do than it used to be, downloaded snapshots and emailed right in. Direct deposit payouts. No fax, snail mail, etc, but you can submit claims that way.
