Only the best for my Tatty
Any time I have had questions regarding Tatty's insurance, the representative has been courteous and answered all my questions and waylaid my fears. As for the veterinarian clinic... WOW.. staff are so kind and helpful. They explained everything that was going on, as well what was happening to Tatty.

I have had to file 2 claims. They were both very easy to do online and very fast response time. Would definitely recommend this pet insurance!

Surgery relief in a snap for my 12 year fur baby
My active border collie mix had a large ACL tear and could not put any weight on his hind leg. We wanted to make sure his golden years were the best possible and that was not going to happen if he continued hobbling around so we opted to move forward with his ACL surgery. Trupanion was fantastic and immediately responded once our vet submitted the claim. I could not have asked for a better response or outcome on their part. I will continue insuring my pets with them for years to come so I can continue having peace of mind when it comes to the treatment needs of my dogs.

Best Pet Insurance Available
I signed up in 2011 with Healthy Paws for a new pup I got from a rescue. My beloved schnauzer fell seriously ill in Dec 2023, and was hospitalized for over 3 weeks in the vet ICU. The bill was a staggering $22k, and Healthy Paws covered most of it. They are compassionate and fast, and while I lost my dog on Christmas Day, I was able to give him the best care because I had Healthy Paws working with me. Five stars all around! My vets always told me that pet insurance never covers anything, but trust me, Healthy Paws is not like any other insurance. Thanks to them, my dog was given a fighting chance.
Will never be without it
We had never used my pet insurance and because my furbabies had always been healthy and they had reach the age the premium was increasing a little more than I was comfortable with, I almost cancelled my insurance. Decided to keep it one final year. My oldest furbaby developed Lymphoma. Because we had MetLife we were able to get the best treatment possible for her and as of today she is still in remission. I learned my lesson. We will never be without insurance for them. MetLife as been wonderful through it all, reimbursements, claim processing and even renewal.
Trupanion care and services for our dog Beau
Trupanion is top notch in handling claims and explanation of benefits. They have always processed any claims I have filed for our pets timely and with expertise. On the few occasions I have contacted them with a question, the agents are friendly, respectful and always willing and able to answer any questions I may have. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who wants a great insurance company for their pets.

No hassle claims, fast and caring response
I called Trupanion when Maggie was diagnosed with Bronchitis, which eventually progressed to Pneumonia. The Trupanion customer care rep was sincerely caring about the situation particularly because Maggie is older for a BMD. Since I was having issues with the website she helped me with an alternative path to submit invoices. The claims have continued for several months and are approved within 24 hours. Amazing really particularly as compared to human healthcare hassles. We're hoping Maggie is finally coming out of the woods and happy to have Trupanion support to defray the costs.
Terrible
I would not recommend MetLife pet insurance to my worst enemy. The lack of customer service follow through and loopholes to avoid paying a claim is disrespectful. Paying over $900 on premiums and $500 in deductibles and they deny a claim for $160. I would suggest going with a company that requires a pre-existing condition physical so you know what they expect upfront.
