Always great, fast service

It is stressful enough when your pup is sick, but ASPCA takes the concern out of submitting claims by the very user friendly website. They also reply with the final review and decision on your claim quickly. They are always fair which takes the financial stress out of the process as well.

Easy & Fast

Submitting a claim with MetLife is simple, easy and the response you get is fast. My claim was submitted and approved within seven days with no issues. I'm extremely happy my company offers pet insurance as part of our benefits package and choose MetLife as the provider.

Healthy Paws is Awesome!

I have had golden retrievers since 1985. I never pursued getting insurance because in general they were usually pretty healthy until their later years. But for my latest goldens I decided to try it out while my they were still young and I went with Healthy Paws. One of my girls has had multiple flareups of pancreatitis and having this insurance to help out with that has been great! The claim procedures at Healthy Paws really couldn’t be easier; just scan a copy of your vet invoice and medical records and click submit. And, one last thing: it means a lot to me when they send me a personal email asking how my dog is doing!

Pets best? More like pets waste of time!

I got my insurance last year when I got my puppy thinking it was going to be looking out for her and have her set up for anything that was to come our way. First time making a claim I was denied (okay cool) but I was given a "see benefits" instead a reason? You can't give me a short reason? I file a claim and it takes months, with only a single email here and there saying "sorry for the inconvenience" you can't communicate what's taking so long? High volume/high claimes/the weather etc something other than sorry? I've made 4 different claims and I have yet to see a check that was made out to me. There is zero incentive for being a member. You just pay 65 bucks for the "best" insurance and it's a complete waste of my money,time and efforts. Good luck trying to speak to a human you'll be on the phone forever and thet will just tell you to "see your benefits" than have it explained to you. Look I get it I can see my benefits but I would like it explained further by someone who is knowledgeable in the insurance industry but I just have to figure it out on my own.

Emergency Spinal Surgery

On New Year's Day, my 2/12 year old chiweenie woke up, unable to use his hind legs. It turned out he herniated a disc and needed emergency spinal surgery. Three days after the surgery I submitted my invoice and within a week, they had reimbursed me at 80%, which allowed me to pay the credit card off immediately and made it so I don't have to cancel my upcoming wedding in order to pay for the surgery. I highly recommend Healthy Paws for anyone looking to insure their pet. Their claims and reimbursement process are seamless, easy, and stress free, which was incredible, considering the stress I was experiencing at home with my recovering dog.

Cystotomy Surgery

Our dog Hamilton had blockages due to bladder stones. He was referred to a specialist by his regular vet, who was able to clear the stone in his urethra and then perform an arthroscopic cystotomy to remove the stones from his bladder. The surgery was much less invasive and our pup healed faster than with a regular cystotomy and is doing better now. Pet's Best processed my claim very quickly and in accordance with my policy. It is so good knowing that I don't need to make difficult decisions about my dog's health based solely on financial considerations, and helps relieve the stress and gives us one less thing to worry about. Thank You Pet's Best! I do recommend this insurance to others, especially new pet owners who might not know about the benefits of a pet insurance policy.

Adopted my dog Luke when he was 6 months old and immediately got this insurance in 2017, and it has been a life saver.
