Fetch paid for my dog's spay surgery
I'm happy that Fetch paid for my dog's spay as well as some other items. However, Fetch denied payment for the double hernia repair surgery performed at the same time, because she was born with the hernias and they said it was a pre-existing condition. That's out of anyone's control, and the surgery was medically necessary, not a choice. I feel Fetch should have paid for the surgery because the hernias were growing and visible and they had to be repaired.

GREAT service with some room for improvement!
We’ve had our policy for 2 months and overall the service has been great! The only issue I’ve had so far, which was taken care of, is that one of my claims was processed through the automated system and deemed as a pre existing condition. Since my pup has had insurance since the day we brought her home, this was impossible. A simple call to customer service and my claim was pushed back in and approved within 24 hours and we were reimbursed successfully after only another 1-2 days! This is impeccable service in my opinion. I would recommend revamping the automated processing system to avoid this mistake in the future as some pet owners may not know to call about this issue which could result in a negative experience and loss of customer! Also, every CSA I’ve spoken to has been wonderful! Glad we switched away from Pets Best!

Turnaround Time Isn't Great
I was hesitating giving 4 stars, but as I'm a newer customer, I wanted to be fair. I submitted a claim over a week ago, and I just checked the status of my claim and it still says submitted. It hasn't even been queued for review yet. I've had insurance with two different companies with previous pets, and the longest I ever waited for a claim to be processed was 5 days, but they were usually completed in 1-3 days, and that was a few years ago when you'd expect things to move slower. If they need additional information then that will add on even more time. I'm glad I am only satisfying my deductible and not wait for reimbursement. I chose Spot because I'd been told and had read they have fast processing times. When I submitted 8 days ago and it's not even in the queue yet, I wouldn't call that fast. It still has not be queued, assigned, or reviewed. I only wonder how many more days it will be. The first claim I submitted was wellness, and that took 9 days, but I figured that it was my first claim and the rest would probably be faster. Well, it's day 8 and it's still just sitting there in a virtual pile...LOL

In the past Pets Best has been very responsive but this past experience is not good. The website problems have made communication difficult. When I have been able to talk to a human they have not been able to resolve my issues with appeals. I am still working the issues.

Used To Be A Good Company
I am so disappointed by Pets Best lately. You can't reach anyone in Customer Service, it took way too long to process my claim for a well visit, and while your website says my reimbursement was sent to my bank, my bank says there are no pending transactions from Pets Best. You used to be such a good company. Now I'm wondering if you're just understaffed, or if you're going out of business and not letting your customer know. Take a look at recent Facebook posts on your page - a lot of unhappy customers!

Pumpkin is the best partner in my pet’s…
Pumpkin is the best partner in my pet’s care We have insured four girls with them and we have never had any problems. Most recently, my dog is being treated for a lung mass and they processed my claim overnight due to the severity of the issue, and I did not request any special treatment. I am so pleased and will insure all my dogs with pumpkin.
