Not great claims experience and customer support
My first claim with this company after having their insurance for 3 years. When I tried to submit a claim for a covered medication, it was denied because they claimed the documentation was incomplete. And they requested documentation which would be impossible to have since I didn't purchase the medication from the vet (the vet didn't carry the medication), so I had to get it from a pharmacy. This seems like a typical thing that would happen, but it doesn't seem to be a use case that their claims system is built for. This is really disappointing and confusing. I'll try again, but its kind of annoying to spend on this time on something that should be a bit more straightforward.

Quick and Easy …
The last two claims have been processed very quickly. The process is very easy if you scan all required documents snd email them. You can also use the phone app but it will only take 3 documents at a time so emailing is much easier. All the agents are very nice and helpful. I would recommend MetLife to my friends that have dogs or cats.

Keeping to their word of services and turn around time for processing and mailing reimbursements. We are so glad we got his insurance. They have literally saved us thousands on our 2 toy poodles vet visits in just one year. So thankful. And customer service is always willing to help with any problems in the submission department with documents they need to process the claims.
