Terrible

This insurance company is a scam. Me pup had a mass in her stomache removed. Last year in chart it said dog has black mass ( which was not a mass but spot). They would not pay bc she already had a Mass on her. It was never even removed. So it doesn’t matter now to bother bc any other “mass” she gets they won’t even pay for. Why bother having insurance??

Pleased and relieved for our wallets and cats! 😽😼😻😸

Saving money and much happier! My three adult cats have been on Nationwide for many years due to an employment discount, and we just got distributed a fourth from the universe — a six week-old kitten this time. Nationwide has actually been fine for us, but just fine. Customer service is great, but It's pricey for the coverage while not standing out as really having more benefits than others, so I was shopping around. We LOVE that the pet insurance umbrella debuted and is just as pleasant as our auto & renters experience that we've had for about ten years now. They have a 24/7 vet/nurse assistance line which is amazing, a multi-pet discount which is very fair, and a few different options for coverage that I was able to customize for each cat. My lazy senior has the illness-only plan. The other two (both 7) have both accident & illness, and our kitten has the accident & illness PLUS the BestWellness Routine Care reimbursement add-on. We've been easily reimbursed for neutering, vaccines, etc. We'd burned twice by two other orgs for our kitten, Tr*****on and Me***fe. Healthy Paws is the best available!

Healthy Paws had ALWAYS been there for me and my dog Ari! My dogs are my kids…one of my pups, Ari has idiopathic cluster seizures disorder…which is particularly dangerous because if not treated in time can lead to a painful death. I am lucky enough to be near Tufts University veterinary hospital with some of the best neurologists in the world! And through the past 5 years of treatment, appointments, medications, er visits Healthy Paws has been there for me! Living up to their promises, no questions asked, no red tape, just paid claims in a timely manner! Without Healthy Paws, I would have had to take out a second mortgage, but with their help me and Ari are living our best lives together. Thanks Healthy Paws!!

Fast approvals and payout

We are going through a cancer diagnosis and treatment plan with our dog. The vet has been able to submit the documents directly for us and the approvals and payments are coming in very quickly from Pets Plus. It is making a stressful situation easier for us. I am very thankful for the Pet Plus Us group.

Simple Claims Process - Great Customer Service

The Pets Best app is one of the most, if not the most, efficient methods to file a claim. It's very easy and self-explanatory. Furthermore, responses are expeditious as well as reimbursement. I wish insurance companies on the human side were this simple! It's a privilege to have our Bloodhound Peach insured through Pets Best.

Read everything VERY VERY closely before signing

My animals are very important. The first time I ever got insurance was through MetLife because I trusted the name. I made it abundantly clear the coverage I wanted. I made the mistake of trusting the MetLife agent to give me what I needed. I ended up with a policy that only covered $2000 which is nothing. If I knew that was the limit of the coverage, I never would have taken the policy because it was definitely not what I asked for. After my dog passed, I was advised I had a death benefit. So, I put the claim in, only to find out it got denied because I reached my $2000 limit, of which they only pay 90% so the actually limit is $1800. My premiums were more than that. Horrible coverage and will never go back.

Very happy with MetLife Pet

We purchased what I designed to be "catastrophic" coverage for a young bully breed family member - 2500 ded., 90% unlimited afterward - for a very reasonable price. One ER visit and an allergy diagnosis later, we have exceeded the deductible and are receiving reimbursement. The claims upload process is easy, and our claims have been processed quickly, including a claim for boarding while his Mom was hospitalized and coverage for expensive hydrolyzed prescription food. Any questions/concerns we've had have been resolved by their customer reps, who are available 7 days a week. Getting coverage when our dog was young (7 months) avoided issues with preexisting conditions, as he had none at the time we purchased the policy (as documented in his adoption and wellness care vet notes). And I'm old enough to remember: "Get Met - It Pays" :-)

Healthy Paws is great!

We have a yellow lab (Simon) and have a pet insurance policy with Healthy Paws. Simon tore his ACL and had to have surgery. Healthy Paws paid the invoice in only two days with no questions asked other than to kindly following up a couple days later inquiring how Simon was recovering. It made a stressful experience easier for us. If you are in the market for pet insurance, I would highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Pets Best is the best!

"We have had several claim with Pets Best but never one as expensive as this one. My poor boy had bladder stones. The vet (unfortunately) did not see the need to do surgery, so in two months, we had to go back. In a stream of unfortunate events to follow, we were back and forth to emergency vets, this was EXHAUSTING. Finally we asked that they do a surgery and they did. This was all very expensive and very stressful and many missed days of work. Pets Best saved our bacon with their wonderful insurance! I am forever grateful and I will continue to refer their name to ALL of my friends and FB
