Excellent Customer Service
I've been with Nationwide for several years. The claims for Ginnie have been processed quickly and efficiently. Whenever I've had questions the customer service agents have been able to answer my questions and provide good advice on how to process the claim. We recently upgraded Ginnie's coverage. Cost of additional benefits was clearly explained. Glad I upgraded it was worth the extra cost.

Good Service the 2nd Year
I switched from Banfield to Nationwide last April 2017 because I moved out of area and there were no Pet Smarts. I was extremely disappointing when her yearly dental was not covered in 2017 after I had researched and contacted Nationwide prior to purchasing. They assured me that if it was a yearly preventative service (which it was as Banfield records indicated) it would be covered. It was not. This year it was covered and so far my claims, they are processed quickly, easy to upload or fax claims, and track online. The dental cleaning is the only large veterinarian bill I have as I try to care for my pet responsibly and at 9 years old she has very few issues. It was a hardship to double my monthly pet insurance and also pay for dental cleaning as if I had no coverage. I understand that Nationwide is not the same type of coverage as Banfield but for the cost expected that they at minimum cover the same basic expenses.

Good selection of plans at a reasonable price.
I was able to select a plan that fit my needs and budget. Claims are processed in a fairly reasonable time with consistent updates as to progress. I very satisfied with the service and the program.

Embrace is a great Pet Ins. Co.
I have been so pleased with Embrace and their very helpful and kind staff! My dog has been insured with Embrace since 2014 and this is my first claims for my dogs cancer. Embrace has paid all the claims as stated in the policy.

Easy to submit claims but takes awhile to receive payment
It is very easy to submit a claim by faxing over the Nationwide cover sheet and receipt from the vet. There are many things not covered, but I learn as I go and I believe preventative care is important so I will continue to get it even though there is no reimbursement. It takes about a month or more to receive a check, but I recently signed up for auto deposit, and was shocked and pleased to receive notification of payment within a couple of weeks.

Unbeatable Coverage, Fast Turnaround
I recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to anyone who has a pet. They not only has amazing coverage (even for medication and vaccinations), but they have the convenience of submitting your claims online and having your claim quickly processed and automatically transferred to your account. It truly is an unbeatable plan.

Decent, very slow though
I am finding that the process of submitting and waiting for the payment back from monies spent at the vet is very long and tedious. I also find it unprofessional that if you need additional information, you post it on the login page, you don't contact me, so this means that if I don't keep checking where my payment is, then I wouldn't know that you're looking for alternate/additional information. I have three dogs insured by you and I spend a lot of money monthly on their insurance, so I expect the very best response time and customer service. Nationwide is definitely not the best.
