Our 13 year old Yorkie developed a scary heart condition. We had to take her to an emergency vet on the weekend because she could barely breathe. She spent 2 days in an oxygen cage and needed several new medications to stabilize. If we didn't have PetsBest insurance, we could not have provided this level of care. We would have lost our girl. That was 2 months ago and she is doing great. It is simple to file a claim and the money we got back helped so much...thank you!"

Don't believe what you read
Don't believe what you read. They deny claims for false reasons. They are rude. They get afraid when you tell them you will record the call. They are looking for any reason to deny part or all of your claim. When you google them you will see the numerous lawsuits they have and complaints. Do yourself a favor and put the money aside and not to these people.

The agents are always knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I can get the coverage I need for my fur baby. I was able to get the right insurance very quickly by phone. I like how the payment is very secure in this crazy world. This company was there for our beautiful boxer boy for the short 7 and 1/2 years we were Blessed to love and care for him so now we now have our mini Golden Doodle covered.

I started with Healthy Paws 11 yrs ago…
I started with Healthy Paws 11 yrs ago paying $36 a month with a $100 annual deductible and a 90% reimbursement. Over the years the monthly rate climbed to $156 pr mo. With all else remaining the same. I was recently told that as of 2026 because my dog was 11 and had cancer surgery that my plan would be changed to a monthly payment of $107 with a $500 deductible and a 70% reimbursement. They said I was no longer eligible for my previous plan. I called asking why older pets are being discriminated against and basicallyI was told too bad take this or leave it. I also asked for the 5th time why Healthy Paws doesn’t offer a senior citizen discount explaining that often older people depend on animals for companionship and want to be able to take proper care of them. I was told there is no senior discount, none is planned so I just had to expressed my disappointment at their callousness and greed. I can’t get insurance from any other company due to my dog’s previous existing conditions of allergies and now cancer. I have absolutely no respect for this company since Chubb took over and would STRONGLY advise everyone to do their homework and consider other companies. This place will raise your monthly premium at their whim without warning. In my opinion the only thing they do right is the speed with which claims are paid out. I usually receive my reimbursement within weeks. Apart from that, they are a heartless, money grabbing company that will think nothing of screwing you and in turn your beloved pets, over at any point in time.and there is absolutely no recourse you have. They literally have you by the b**** and they know it and take full advantage of squeezing every penny out of you they can get AND at the worst possible time when your pet is seriously ill and old.The only ones who end up paying the price if you are forced to drop the insurance is your pet. That’s just not right. Shame on them. I would welcome any executive from Healthy Paws to reach out to me, give me a call, and listen to concerns of not only the average pet owner but of the seniors who only want to do right by their best friends even if it means going without to provide for them. Many seniors with pets are on a very fixed income and this company couldn’t care less. I’d love to know what their CEO and CFO’s annual salary is! It’s disgraceful
