This place is a total scam
This place is a total scam, they made me jump through multiple hoops and never reimbursed me. I had injury insurance and my dog was literally hit by a car and they said that was not an injury. When I wanted to continue to petition their rejections they told me I would end up having to cover their hourly lawyer fees if I did. DO NOT USE THEM!

Do not recommend this carrier
Terrible front facing data for customers- very generic. Repeated denials for bogus claims which require tons of effort and time on the consumer and Practitioner. Requires time wasted sitting on hold to speak to someone to actually see resolution. Denials for "preexisting conditions" are mostly bogus.

Kelce's Pet Insurance - Spot
Spot was very efficient and Customer Service took the time to explain everything about my coverage. I had lost my boxer to cancer. I got another boxer puppy and got the pet insurance right away and found Spot to be the best. Sadly, my puppy was diagnosed with kidney disease right after I had bought her from a breeder. Very sad. So far things have been going well. I just keep praying. I haven't had to use her pet insurance much at all. But I did not know her prescription food was covered by her insurance. That was a nice surprise!! I sent her receipts in and within a week my claim was processed!

Look elsewhere for good pet indurance.
Embrace pet insurance will seek any possible reason to deny the service requested for your pet. I have had my veterinarians, behaviorists, and specialists communicate with them without any success. Are you interested in understanding the difference between a pre-existing condition and a congenital disorder? It may not be relevant, as they classify a congenital disorder as pre-existing if it was present before you submitted a claim. This reasoning is illogical because if the pet was born with it, they had it prior to the claim. If that justification is insufficient, they will argue that it fell within the waiting period. Once again, they were born with it. I am extremely dissatisfied with this insurance. I recommend that you explore other policies before selecting this one. 3/13/26 I have yet to hear from Embrace to discuss any concerns as mentioned in their letter.
