Spot Pet Insurance has denied my claim…
Spot Pet Insurance has denied my claim multiple times for “missing medical records” that do not exist and cannot be provided. My dog is a rescue I adopted at age 2, and I have already submitted every available record from the rescue organization. Each time I call, I’m told the notes will be updated — yet they continue denying the claim for the same reason. Meanwhile, my dog’s condition is worsening and needs surgery. I bought insurance specifically to be protected in situations like this, and instead I’ve spent months resending documents and getting nowhere. If your pet is a rescue without a full lifetime medical history, expect serious problems getting claims approved.
