I 'am very pleased with Trupanion…
I 'am very pleased with Trupanion coverage. Processing claims is quick an efficient. When going to the Vet they initiate the claim directly to the Vet and I pay my portion then. All my pets claims for medication coverage is sent in by me by email and quickly deposits the return into my bank account (no waiting for the USPS) our local Emergency Vet and the University of Gainesville Small animal Center accept Trupanion. Helps in the time of need for your pet.
They answered right back when I contacted them. They were fast in processing the claim and really they were really great. It’s just the first time having pet insurance. I thought we would have been covered just a little bit more. It takes time to learn everything. It was nice not having to pay that whole amount. I just learned when we’re actually paying for it at the vet, we could also get reimbursed for the claim at the same time.

Trip to the ER on Valentine’s Day
It’s Valentine’s Day weekend, the last thing I was thinking about was needing to use the insurance I purchased for my new puppy, 7 months ago! But here I am, in a panic at the ER bc, my sweet little 10 month old Yorkipoo, Ginger is having GI upset since 5am. But lucky for her, she’s got a mom who purposely knew there would be days like today! The bright spot was when the receptionist said, you have Trupanion, that’s the only insurance we accept, I’ll take care of everything! 10 mins later..she handed me an estimate of cost that showed what was covered, to my surprise it was more than half of the bill. Thanks to Trupanion, my little girl received the best care and I still received a Valentine’s gift!

Easy to use, quick for reimbursement
Very easy to file claims. Customer service, when I have used them, is helpful and responsive. Claims can sometimes take a bit of time, but they always do a good job of communicating what might be slowing the process down. Reimbursement is seamless too!
