Customizable Options, Confusing Claims

Spot offers a greatly customizable experience that is great for both of my two cats. I get exams, illness, and accidents covered for my older cat and illness and accidents covered for my younger cat. The amount I pay changes for them both based on the deductible I choose and what percentage of their visit is covered. The only issue I have with Spot is that their claims process isn’t clear. I might have an itemized bill and only want to claim what is covered by my insurance (for example, flea prevention is not covered) but there seems to be no way for me to indicate I am not claiming that which I feel affects the speed with which my claim is being processed.

Thank You Pumpkin Pet Insurance

Pumpkin Pet Insurance was referred to me by Vet at Animalize Veterinary Center...since becoming a member, I can't believe how professionally and how quickly a claim is resolved. I haven't used yet, thankfully, but the new addition of how over $500 Vet Visits are administered...has to be quite comforting to those going through that situation with their "Babies." Thank you for all you do for us and our Babies.

Overall Good Experience

Customer service was helpful, and I did receive a payout for my dogs surgery. 4 stars because it took a little longer than expected, and the communication for needing more documentation was a little unclear. Overall though, a good experience and happy to have insurance for my pups.

Easy Claim Experience

I've had ASPCA Pet Insurance for multiple pets for over 7 years. Fortunately I only recently had to file a claim after one of my fur babies got seriously ill very suddenly, and ended up passing. Not only did they pay my claim quickly with very little questioning, but they offered condolences and cancelled his coverage without my having to ask. I appreciated the fact that they made the process as easy as possible during such a difficult time.
