Pleasantly surprised with claim filing and coverage.
I was nervous that the claim filing process would be difficult and tedious; but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to submit the claim -- and with how fast it was processed. At this point, I'm very glad I did my research a couple years ago and chose Pets Best.
Pets Best Insurance Coverage
Just entered my first claims with Pets Best for my dog Ruby. The whole process from filing, getting a response and the coverage was just as my policy stated—no surprises. I was very pleased.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
This company only cares about the money. They lure you in with a low premium and then drastically increase them every year. They were the subject of a lawsuit for increasing premiums without notice. Their customer service for existing customers is someone from the Philippines who speaks very broken English. I could not understand what she was saying and sent emails asking that someone I could understand please call me and no one ever did. Finally I called and chose the option for wanting to purchase pet insurance (not existing customer) and surprisingly I got someone that spoke very good English. I would look elsewhere when choosing pet insurance.

Very Fast!
My girl was very sick and I took her to the vet. I filed my first claim that evening, it was accepted in processed in less than 24 hours. I then had to take her to the hospital, which was very expensive, she spent two nights there. I filed the second claim when I was picking her up and it was accepted and processed again within 24 hours. I received payment both times and less than one week. Overall an amazing experience with Pets Best!

Efficient claim process
The process to submit the claim for the services received for my dog has been efficient, easy to upload receipts online and fast response on the status as well as direct payment to my account. The explanation of benefits covered is clear, although would like to see a higher amount for coverage under the wellness plan given the cost of the quarterly insurance payment, specially for healthy dogs that are current with all of their vaccinations. Other than that PetsBest has been great!

Quick turn around on claims
My dog had a medical emergency and went to the emergency vet. The visit resulted in surgery. I did my claim thru the app once we were home recovering. It was so easy. My claim was processed in 5 days, that is faster than human health insurance! I highly recommend Pets best pet insurance. When I have had other claims, they keep me posted on the status until processed and the claim closed in a timely manner.
