In my two or three years with Metlife, I've always had exceptional customer service. Only one time have I ever been disappointed. The last claim I filed was reviewed and paid out in 3 days. I am very happy with my Metlife experience so far. I do not have children, my dogs are my babies.

Nationwide pet insurance has saved us
Nationwide pet insurance has saved us. Our young dog has had a few unexpected and costly issues this year - an illness of IMPA that made him really sick and also an abscess on his hind foot. Nationwide claims are incredibly easy to file, and they process them quickly. The quick reimbursements have taken much of the added financial stress off our shoulders so we can focus on our pup’s care.

A little disappointing
The coverage for my dog is OK. They have been extremely slow in processing my claim. They've asked multiple times for vet notes which I have submitted at least twice and no response. This is very disappointing as I have read many positive reviews but sadly this isn't one.

I have had Pets Best for years
I have had Pets Best for years. They recently got bought out by another company and it has gone completely downhill. I can't recommend them anymore. I would switch my cat to another insurance if I could but he has pre-existing conditions so I have to keep them. All future animals will go on another insurance plan with a company that is not owned by this corporate outfit. The customer service is terrible- it used to be outstanding. They don't care anymore. I filed a wellness claim and they reprocessed it again incorrectly. I am done calling in and dealing with this. In the past wellness and illness claims could be sent together and they knew how to process it correctly- now they don't know what they are doing with claims or even what your policy includes. If you are looking for a good pet insurance- look elsewhere.
