When I filed my claim, I did not understand that there was a waiting period for illness - this is on me. However, I took my new cat in for a routine checkup and it was found that he had an ear and eye infection. Because of the waiting period the infection medication and appointment was not covered, but wellness meds were. Once I called and stated that the appointment was for routine care, and they just happened to find the infections PetsBest adjusted the claim and covered the appointment! I'm a little upset that it didn't cover the medication, however, that was on me for not understanding that there was a waiting period. Overall, PetsBest has been highly responsive, the agent on the phone was super helpful in explaining everything, and updating the claim. It did take a while, but that's totally okay! Great service, good coverage, and easy to use!

Pet insurance is one of those things that doesn’t likely get a lot of 5 star reviews. But when it comes to healthy paws, I can’t say enough great things. They supported us every step of the way of our loving dogs 5 year fight with cancer. We got 5+ years of amazing quality time added to her life because of their support.

Healthy Paws - You Won't be Disappointed
Healthy Paws has exceeded our expectations. They have been very dependable, easy to deal with and super quick to respond when we have had questions or to file a claim. Getting reimbursed for the vet bills was easy and we received most payments within 2r4 hours. It's nice to have that extra peace of mind knowing that if something were to happen, we would be covered for large vet bills. Especially in those emergency situations where every second counts. The customer service has always been pleasant and they have always gone above and beyond to help. Our greyhound is nearing 12 years old and without Healthy Paws, we could not manage the vet bills and medications. The insurance itself has made a difference in being able to provide for our pet. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance to any pet owner that is looking for a reliable company to protect their pet. You will not be disappointed!

Superb Service; Cost Friendly
Justin was absolutely wonderful. He was patient throughout our lengthy phone conversation and answered my numerous questions thoroughly and clearly. He spoke at a comfortable pace, so I was able to both absorb and reflect on his information as we chatted. in addition, I am getting much more thorough coverage compared to my previous insurance and saving money to boot. Changing to Fetch is the right decision for me.

My experience with Trupanion was good
My experience with Trupanion was good. Although my regular vet immediately excepts Trupanion for the bill, I had to take my dog to a new veterinarian as I couldn't get an apt there. I submitted the bill to them electronically and they paid their share very quickly.

Don't waste your money
Pets Best Insurance is a complete waste of money. No matter what I submitted, Pets Best Insurance always denied my claim stating that the issue was due to pre-existing conditions. The only pre-existing condition my dog has are allergies. I never submitted a claim for allergy treatment, but no matter what claim I did submit somehow Pets Best Insurance always tied it to allergies and refused my claim. My vet said this was unethical because the claims I submitted were not allergy-related. Pets Best Insurance also requested my dog's health history repeatedly despite the fact that their customer service phone reps twice verified they had it on file. When I finally appealed one denial with support from my vet, they sent my appeal to an "independent" veterinarian on their payroll for a second opinion. Of course the denial was upheld. Please don't waste your $75 to $250 a month. You will not receive above-board service, and they simply try to wear you down with their tactics for more information. Owning and caring for a pet is expensive to begin with; don't make it more so by wasting your money with Pet's Best Insurance.

The new app still needs some tweaking though as it still has a few bugs in it, but the customer service rep was aware and explained what I needed to do.
