This was my first bill I submitted to Spot. My dog had major surgery on his head and some teeth extracted at the same time. They covered the entire procedures at 80% minus the copay. I was so glad to have this great insurance.

Communicating claim issues
When I first submitted my claim the image apparently wasn't clear enough but I was never contacted. I had to reach out because I wasn't seeing it in the claims. It would be helpful to let people know if there is a problem especially since it's submit it and forget until we hear from you.

Awful
Awful. Do not waste your money. Pets best will reclassify your claims under vague categories that do not match what the pet was seen for just so they can argue pre-existing conditions. My veterinarian wrote them a letter supporting my claim appeal, stating he was not seen for any pre-existing condition. They ignored the letter and denied it again. Their phhone lines will leave you on hold for 45 plus minutes and their complaint form is a joke.
