Great so far!!!

So far spot insurance has been incredibly helpful. My fur baby has recently run into some issues with his tummy and it’s been reassuring to know that i’m able to get him the care he needs with the support of Spot.

Happy with my experience overall.

The claim filing process is easy. The claims are often processed quickly, with the money deposited directly into my bank account. My most recent experience was canceling my coverage due to the passing of my Great Dane. The two people I talked with were both friendly and efficient. My annual policy payment was refunded from the date of my dog's death, even though I did not call immediately. The funds arrived in my bank account very quickly.

Embrace experience too early to tell

I opted to try Embrace due to being a USAA member and previous company continued to have escalating premiums when both are young and healthy. Embrace so far is good but the sluggishness of the website is frustrating and generates numerous duplicate invoices and can imagine the frustration when reviewing for payment. This is my second invoice since having the plan will see the claim payout as the first one 0 ;-(

They Decline Everything

I wanted to love these guys. I'd had a very positive experience with my previous company, but the premium prices were escalating rapidly. I was able to insure both of my dogs for the price I had been paying for one. The catch was that, even after two full years with this company, they continually declined every single claim, based on "needs more documentation," or in one case, my dog had had a small blemish, which had been looked at about 3 years earlier. When the doctor elected to remove it, this was declined as a pre-existing condition. It was basically a pimple, and these guys informed me that all such claims would now be excluded. I decided that if we were going to have to plan on covering all vet bills and nothing was covered, I wasn't going to pay premiums as well. I'll put that money in a special account and it'll be there when we need it. Also, they notified us that our premiums were going from $167 a month to $350 a month. No thanks.

Disappointed customer

One been a customer for over 4 1/2 years. In the beginning I really liked the service. They were quick to review claims and fund them. Phone calls were answered in a short period of time. In the last year, I feel that services have declined. Phone calls can take over an hour before they’re answered. Claims will sit in review for weeks. All in all I feel like the service is not as efficient as it once was.

Three year old poodle unexpected cancer

Our three your old poodle mix was diagnosed with papilloma squamous cell carcinoma, a typically non-metastazing, but fast growing cancer on her upper palate. This was a terrifying diagnosis, requiring a costly treatment. Pets Best, helped cover a significant amount of the cost. The online form was extremely easy to fill out. We received our refund within a couple of weeks. I was not aware that dental cleaning was an add-on, but urge all pet parents to get regular dental check-ups for your pets. This was an unexpected cost in an otherwise healthy young dog and are grateful for Pets Best Health Insurance.
